If you are worried, best thing to do might be to take a screen shot of your character the day before the expansion goes live. Use a cell phone or whatever you can.
Then, if you have any problems you have a nice snapshot to email support and get the SP you have earned applied to your character. If it goes missing.

It's a value in a database, it's almost impossible to screw up, lets face it they worked out the missing SP issues from the migration that was a shed load harder to sort out. |

This is obviously a joke BTW and not intended to be taken seriously.

Careful on this point.
If you're talking about refunding AUR, that would say that CCP didn't earn money already. So for me, that's a call for a full reset, and I personnaly don't want to see this happen. |

I doubt they would refund AUR tbh
The majority of us have used AUR for boosters and through those boosters we have acquired our SP which is now whatever number
The SP reset will give us our SP back that we also gained from using boosters
The question is what about boosters which are active at the time for the reset? will they just continue like normal or will they be either refunded or reset |

If they don't reset AUR then I guess those people who bought AUR items for whichever class, will have to stay with that class.
I have no problem with the SP reset, but will obviously have to stay with the suit and equipment I have bought for AUR.
It maybe would have been nice to try out a different class, but without an AUR reset this would be a stupid thing to do. |

DUST as EVE is not suppose to be fully accessible to everyone day 1.
1st day player must not be able to access PC.
We need a solid block of players to build the DUST universe, have an "alliance politic" in place etc...
It's a MMO, beta is open for everyone, CCP is already earning money (and I think a lot). A full SP reset is not the solution for a game like DUST (it's a MMO/FPS, not a FPS/MMO, how many time will I have to repeat thits) |

Considering how they refunded the last chunk of SP, I am strongly inclined to believe this.
I am so damn excited for the SP refund, I'm spending my SP on all sorts of stupid things (tanks, the lulz). I'm extremely excited to become a dedicated scout, I'm also extremely excited to see what's coming with Uprising.

Has an SP stretch on skills been confirmed or denied? Re: Progression speed - lengthening the time through the amount of SP needed to achieve each level. Even with my minimal amount of in game time I managed to advance more than I would have though I could. Not indicating for or against, just a question I must have missed. If implemented this would reduce impact on the stomping of new players entering at launch time though might hurt our heads. |

I would be more worried that the new skill trees may give us less levels/weapons than what we have now.
for example a heavy suit needs drop suit op 3 and heavy 1, in one of the early betas u needed drop suit op 4, meaning if they go back to that option you lose 87k or so that it takes from 3 to 4 or if the new weapon skills are more streamlined so instead of light wepaon upgrade/sharpshooter ect its now laser rifle sharpshooter, ar sharpshooter, sniper rifle sharshooter not one grouped set
