No, you will keep all of your points. This is not a reset, it's a respec, you can do whatever you want with the points you've earned.
Edit: They plan to add skills, and change some of the ones we currently have. This is why they're refunding your SP. |

They didn't mention your assets, ISK, and stats, so instead of assuming that they will be left intact, you instead somehow came to conclusion that this would be another complete character reset except for the SP? Seems logical.
Yes it's all speculation, but there's reasonable speculation, and then there's speculation that makes us question your thought process.
And by money are you referring to Aurum? Cause there's no more refunds, except for certain merc packs which must be refunded at release. |

Well, maybe you can petition CCP for your own personal hard mode and have them reset your character to 0. From what I can gather the skill progression system is so drastically different that it is much less trouble for everyone involved for them to just give back you earned SP so you can re build your character using the new system. That doesn't count as hand holding. So much as the devs basically saying, heck with it. Let those guys figure out what they want their character to be. No way we are going to try to guess what they would have wanted their sp spent on in the new system. It really sounds more like the opposite of hand holding. They are going to allow each and every player the opportunity to really screw up their skill progression all at once. WIth a ton of new items! If they were spoon feeding us they would take the time to reassign all of our sp. But what they are really doing is refunding all the food we will have eaten over the last three months and saying, "Here you go. Here is some food. Now it is up to you to feed yourselves." Wrong in so many ways...They already said no more resets now that weve entered the open beta.There are always going to be winners and loosers...and the loosers will always cry....and thats all Im hearing from the "Respec Camp".Sure I got some sp into unwanted skills.How bout you petition them to fix the skills you bought into?For whatever said piece of equipment or skill that you have...You spent your sp on crap Lavs ...live with it. CCP if you do this make them pay AURUM TO DO IT......and use the Aur to make more content.My coworker plays WOW this sounds like what he was saying about Wellfare epics....this has fuckin fail written all over it.
