I think it makes perfect sense. How can you give players a advantage who don't even play the ***** game!!!?? It makes sense to give players who don't AFK farm a advantage but damn most people don't even test the *** game they just AFK farm it would be STUPID to not reset stats and give people a advantage for riding the beta and not actually doing anything. This does make sense so +1 for you who made this post. ppl warned CCP not to implement that 1SP per sec bs ppl making a big deal out of nothing who srsly wants to go through that grind again? for u infantry guys its easy ever try dumpin all ur SP into vehicles when u also like being on the ground shooting ppl and see how annoying it is to be facing duvolles when ur in ** std gear? reset will do nothing but turn ppl off the game and those that do stick around will be forced once again to waste a month or 2 playing pubs gettin SP and ISK before they can even hit PC what about all the corps that looking forward to PC? their wallets wiped then what? its 100M ISK just to have ONE SI on the district ur looking at ppl farming pubs for months again just to accumulate ISK to START PC sorry but that is *** **** EDIT: let it be known i also DONT AFK farm i actually get ALL my SP in **** redline skirmish and dont see an issue atm. AFK will be fixed next build IF a stat reset turns you away from the game than you aren't here playing it for the right reasons so I can't really sympathize for you. You are clearly picking sides, I am happy nomatter what happens reset or no reset so either way I am still on this game and still owning. I don't depend on SP or gear. I kill no matter what. You must have the patience of a saint. I've been grinding the same damn thing for almost a YEAR. Your request for an SP reset is selfish. You want to punish the entire community for the acts of a few.

But I can see how that would confuse you... Not a big man, I'm a realist. I'm saying what's best for the game overall when most here are saying what's best for them. And a vocal minority were here complaining about getting reset, but that's how it always is. The small percentage that visit here will always have a larger voice. When if comes down to it a reset at every build until release would make the game more accessible to possible new players. As it is now, for every 1 player that plays dust once and loves it, there are 5 that don't and every time it's the response "I can't kill anyone but they can kill me" You're right. Come next build if things don't change this game may die before it's even launched. Vets are frustrated - new berries are frustrated - CCP seems to think there stances in EvE will be effective in a console gaming community. Hope that doesn't blow in there face. We're not as patient as PC players who expect terrible games.

It would just annoy too many people for not enough benefit. A complete wipe is a non-starter, but a selective wipe of unearned SP is both possible and beneficial for the whole community. All those claiming to AFK to call attention to the practice would be able to report the effectiveness of the fix so others wouldn't try. Retroactive wipes puts CCP always ahead of the hackers instead of always behind. We don't let bank robbers get away with a heist just because nobody stopped them in the bank. The real deterrent is the threat of being tracked down and prosecuted later. I honestly think a complete wipe would not be a bad thing. It has pros and cons but I think the pros could outweigh the cons. That is just me and my opinion that I get for being in this free country. I don't have to make up CCP is facing legal issues for not making their beta up to his standards like Sota Pop. I am just speaking what I feel is good not just for ME but for the community as a whole. For those saying they will quit the game if there is a wipe, hasn't there already been like 3 wipes before?
