If only CCP had a way to detect inactivity, how funny would it be if all of a sudden everyone who AFK'd lost all SP they gained that way?

It would just pull from your most recent SP purchases, and you'd be stuck with whatever you bought and could no longer use.

Aren't those players earning the same sp/sec you are? Aren't you earning a great deal more by fighting? How do you equate that with them having some kind of advantage?
It's more of a "fair" thing, as it isn't very fair for someone who doesn't play to be rewarded almost as well as someone who does.
Also, this makes games like skirmish significantly less enjoyable when you've got people hanging back not contributing to anything. I personally would much rather have the horrible nooby who goes 0/18 on my team than the AFK who goes 0/0. Sure, we may lose terribly, but at least that guy was trying.
That said, AFK farming is a HORRIBLE excuse for a full reset. |
