Railguns are huge and cost hundreds of thousands ISK; forge guns are small and don't cost nearly as much as well as doing more damage. The range difference is 100m. That is more than fair. Actually they cost the same, also which one does more damage? |

They cost just as much, and have a lower rate of fire. Forge Guns are supposed to be long range. Also, Railguns have a potential to do more damage whereas Forge Guns do not. Nope. My adv railgun costs 150k, whereas adv forge guns don't even cost half as much. Damage output for both weapons is roughly the same when you count in heating of the rail gun, preventing it from firing faster than a forge gun. Ammo count and lack of nano hives doesn't count as a limit |

Firstly, why are you even complaining when you have the ability to hold something that does upwards of more damage than Large Railguns?
Secondly, take a look at the barrel on the Large Railguns and compare that to the length of your Forge Gun. See the difference? It doesn't do that damage in a self sustainable fashion, while railguns have infinite ammo and much more accuracy. Also each forge and railgun round does kinetic yet somehow the forge's kinetic energy doesn't hold. |

So why does that kinetic energy not translate into fall off? |
