Basically, I want a way to lock down an enemy district. Make it so that another corp has to spend resources or something on it, but cannot use it.
It might be that let's say I attack another corp's district, beat all of their clones, but I don't take it over. I want to raid an enemy district, gain something from it, but not have to spend any resources or anything defending it. Maybe I just want to cripple it so another corp can take it over.

I guess something more than just stealing clones, but something less than taking it over.

So, essentially, when you capture a district the corp that previously had it has to keep paying for its upkeep? No. |

If you attack a district and win you will not only stop their production of clones for the next day, but steal half their next days production. See this post for a bit more details on the stealing of clones: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=66365
On top of that you get the ISK of all the clones killed and loot based on what the defenders used. |

But the attackers can't really gain much of a profit just by attacking without taking the district.
15 million in biomass and another 15 million in loot (if the average fitting is 200k, and not taking into account vehicles).
If you split that by 16 it's less than 2 million to each person. If they die 7 times each it's 500k ISK profit to each person. But the corp would have a clone loss as well that the 37 stolen clones can't make up for.
Edit: And this is even assuming we get some sort of (at least) basic trading or corp hangars, so you won't end up with loot you can't even use.
Edit2: Actually I have a question. I know we'll get SP for these matches, but will we also get regular ISK payouts? Since this would obviously increase the overall ISK payout. |
