The Myyheral system lies in the "Bleak Lands" region at the edge of the Amarr Empire. It has a Concord security rating of 0.5, making it among the most dangerous of systems considered to be within borders of the Empire. The star Myyheral is a G5 Yellow star, and there are 9 planets in the system.
Myyheral IV is the only Temperate planet in the system. Possessing a single moon and an asteroid belt, Myyheral IV is a lush, green planet when viewed from space. Possessing only small seas and oceans and few mountains, the planet is primarily composed of rolling hills, flatlands, and river valleys.
Myyheral IV from space
Scans from orbit, however, reveal that the planet has a low density of complex organisms, revealing that the lush green is grassland and deciduous forest rather than thick, multi-tiered jungle. The lack of cloud cover over most of the planet at any one time is further evidence of a more arid ecosystem than its green hue would first suggest.
Although situated at the very edge of Amarr Imperial space, and in a security zone that is just above what might be referred to as "pirate infested", Myyheral IV is a colonized world, with 12 sparsely populated districts spread across the world. A customs office in orbit reveals that the planet exports some raw and processed materials offworld.
Recently, travel to and from the surface of the planet has been restricted. Rumors abound of civil disturbances, unrest, and outright fighting within and around the districts. No doubt the Empire will release information as it becomes appropriate. For the moment, however, this guide advises against travel to Myyheral IV without a well armed escort. |

Nice post. The disconnect between the planets we've fought on and the greater New Eden universe has been bothering me.
I agree with Verana: we really need the historical list with data of all the planets mercs have operated on. This is historical, after all. We are the only clones in New Eden who have fought in Jovian space, for example.
I'd like to see an automatic starmap zoom in the warbarge, starting at the scale of the entire New Eden cluster and zooming down to the planet and district, with sovereignty statistics displayed at all levels. This would help integrate new players into New Eden, and show peeps the dynamics of the politics going on at all scales. |
