With so many players using shield based suites, I can't see why the general mass of players haven't either learned about them, or have already started to use them. I mean, they can easily cripple any proto shield suit, and put them in such a vulnerable position. Sure they do not usually kill the person you are throwing them at. But they bring them down to such low health, that a few well placed shots could easily finish them off. Which gives lower level fitted players a chance when fighting those who are too expensive to die.
I see more Av grenades as time goes on, but hardly any flux grenades.
I Use flux grenades 80% of the time, because I know they can scare a lot of the shield tanked suited players in this game.
Plus they make shield tanks **** them selves when they start shaving away their safety bubble. |

I would love to be able to carry an AV nade and 2 flux's, I would be a terror to shield tanks |

Maybe because it doesn't take much to evade damage from a flux. I've been using them for months and noticed that the smallest bit of cover can save someone. It makes a great support weapon, but you probably don't want to rely upon it if you are an assault. |

Flux are on all of my heavy suits. It helps counter balance the weakness of the Assault HMG. With the Assault Forge those horrifying Gunlogis are a little less scary. Like them more on the armor heavy suit since a point blank flux will generally do more to the enemy than me.
Just today I snuck up behind a black logi laser suit. Fluxed him and it still took forever for the HMG to kill him. Granted he was dodging all over.
Flux grenades are the great equalizer. Not sure if their animation and area of effect are matching up. I've been in blasts that should have hit me but didn't seem too. |
