How is the game like call of duty?. The only similarity I see is the it is an FPS and you shoot at people. I don't see any perks, kill streaks, random game modes, or throwing knives in dust 514. Sorry hulk, but your point makes no sence |

Seriously?? Please bring a valid argument to the table before posting filth like this. The only similarities I see between DUST and CoD is the fact that they are booth FPSs. DUST has far more depth; you have your own character that you can advance and specialize into many different roles, incredibly immersive and deep lore that is tied in with EVE, game-play that encourages working as a team and socializing; ability to customize your equipment from the type of armor and grenades you use to tanks and dropships you can call in whenever you want (as long as you have the isk  ); and this is just what we have now and we are in the very beginning of the open BETA. There is a new build that will bring improvements in graphics and sooooo much more content for us to explore and try to break, and it will still be just a beta. All in all it offers far more than just the every man for himself arena style crap that CoD offers; and these are only a few of the things that separate this game from CoD.
that being said this game is far from perfect, there is allot of crap that is broken, but I am hopeful for what it will become, after all it is only a beta
Now if you can offer a counter argument to support your claim that this game is like CoD I would be more than willing to listen.
TL;DR there are many things that separate this game from CoD, please explain how it is like CoD |
