Due to the complexity of putting together Loadouts along with all of the adjustments skills make, I made a tool to help with testing such loadouts.
It's still beta, but it's in enough of working condition I feel I can start getting some valid feedback on the visual aspects.
It's a bit slow right now as it does skill adjustments for the weapon tables.
I know it works with the latest version of Firefox and Chrome, haven't tested with Safari.
Doesn't currently work well on iPads. In testing with Chrome on my Transformer 101 tablet, I found it displayed nicely there, albeit a bit slow.
For the curious: Built with Jquery, Isotope, Underscore, JSON, and Backbone

Any feedback is appreciated.
I'll be adding some diagrams that better explain some of the tiles. |

Nice tool - I'm still playing around with it, but noticed that none of the CPU upgrades have a PG consumption listed. Needs to be updated.
I'll keep playing around with it!

Unless it was just adjusted, I didn't think CPU upgrades had a PG requirement... That can be adjusted once I have those values, it's all in JSON anyway... |

This has been drastically updated. The skill requirements still don't save, but I will be adding that once I get some other features working.
I'll be updating the data for Uprising as well. |

If it helps, though I promote hydraSlav's tool because I like that it's laid out like the actual fitting screen even if it is just a spreadsheet:
DUST 514 Uprising Dropsuit Data Sheets
Another spreadsheet, yes, but it might be easy to grab specific numbers to plug rather than entering each manually. I'm not sure how you work yours honestly. |

Very nice looking tool. It's not working quite right for me though. For example if I click the electronics and engineering skills the CPU/PG of my loadout doesn't change. |

Very nice tool! I know you'll end up updating and fixing bugs, but this certainly looks like it will be very useful! |

Quick note, you've confused the slot loadouts for the Minmatar M-I and M/1-Series....
Basic Teir is 2/2/3 ADV Teir is 3/3/3
Also, I think most people look at High / Low / Equipment, but maybe that's just me... Seeing equipment first is odd as that's not what most people think of for their loadout to begin. Just a personal note.
Another note, sorry: When you click on "Change Dropsuit" rather than take you back to the initial options screen it forces you to scroll through all the suits listed meaning you have to reload the whole page in order to get back to something that lets you limit it down and browse easier again.
AGAIN, sorry... You're missing Active Scanners as Equipment As they're viable tools and quite useful it would be nice to see them added. |
