Keep it going. Honestly, if I'm in a game, I will bring out my absolute best equipment (if I can afford it) and will try to do my best. People complain about pubstompers, but do you want them to just sit in Type-2 suits all the time just so the game is more even for you? No.
If you're above 2.5 mill SP, it should be no problem for you to hold off against a well-fitted squad. The only excuse to be made is not spending SP wisely. And that is your fault. |

I have a couple of alts around the 2 milliion mark, one of which I'm comfortable saying I've spread my SP way too thin, and I don't mind pubstomping when both teams have squads, or when it's only one squad in the match and everyone else on BOTH sides is random solo players.
The only issue I have with pubstomping is when one team has 3 squads all using protogear, and the other team has a 2-person squad and a 3-person squad and nobody running anything better than Standard except the 3-person Squad with Advanced gear.
Even then, it's just a matter of "I wouldn't do it" rather than "you shouldn't do it". |

Pubstomping has nothing to do with how good you are, or what kind of equipment you field.
It has everything to do with Closed Beta veterans being paired up against Johnny Newberry who has 30 seconds of in game experience..... |

1. A full team of players with a minimum of 5 million SP, all running Prototype gear against a team of random strangers who have been playing for a month at most and none of them have more than 3 million SP, all running advanced gear.
2. The same two teams as specified above, but instead of running their Prototype gear, the veterans bring Militia and Standard gear.
With option 2, the vets are still going to demolish the new players, but at least they're leaving a slim chance for those novices to get a few extra points for fighting on less of a cliff and more of a steep hill. |

First off, it's too*
Second of all, it doesn't affect me much. I punish myself by not being able to afford boosters, and spreading my SP thin instead of dumping them all into shotgun scouts like I should have to begin with

Sure, but you drive out the casual player, who looks at the Prototype stuff and thinks "oh man, how can I beat them?" and just quits because he thinks people will just always use Prototype gear. And this game needs a big player base to survive, considering its a F2P shooter. |

Well all I can say is that much of this pubstomping will be solved once we have high sec low sec and null sec. Until then newbies will just have to hang In there :/. And I will be honest I am a pubstomper myself at times, mainly with my tank squad. because well let's face it, even 2 whole squads of newbies with militia swarms arent going to do much against a well organized and well fitted squad of tanks. Same for proto suits.-á |

Very good point, but protosuit doesn't make the man it gives them a slight edge, the poster who said it has more to do with vets vs. rookies. Biggest difference is how many squads often vs. how many random cherries.
I would emplore the community to save pubstomping for ambush though as it makes a skirmish terrible long and dull |

Its not a slight edge if you know how to fit it right. |

Also, if you have all the passive skills in addition to the proto suits, it just becomes a massacre. |
