I saw a LOT of solo running on the PFBHz side while Unreal made more use of concerted pushes and team tactics. I think the bunnies, being such strong individual killers, have developed bad habits on squad level tactics.
On that map, the team that takes B takes the win. It's very easy to overwatch C from B, while A has relatively low strategic value.
All in all, I'm impressed with Unreal. We all know PFBHz are world class. By doing so well against them, Unreal showed that they too are a strong corp.
Now, when corp battles are expanded, team and squad level tactics will become much more important. Then we will have to find out all over again who are the best corps and who just has good gun game. |

Just expressing what I saw. I thought I was being helpful, actually. No need to get all up in arms. I have publicly stated that PFBHz are the best corp in Dust many times, and I stand by that. But everyone has room for improvement. I was looking at the radar more than watch Tryhard fight. He's good but I can't learn anything from watching him. I was interested in the tactics used by both corps. Kinda wish one of you guys would have spent the entire match looking at the map, and recorded it. Would have been really interesting.
As for the challenge, V4H would only get trounced. We don't have enough skilled players to do more than lose eff tons of isk to you. Corp battling you guys would serve no purpose other than to teach my guys how far they have to go to compete with the likes of you. As it stands, a lot of your guys could solo an entire squad of ours... so tactics are out the window.

jesus christ guys, I wasn't trying to pick a fight! I enjoyed my time in PFBHz, though I wasn't "loyal" enough to be one of you. Or maybe my brand of being a douche wasn't the same as ya'lls. It's whatever.
If you just wanted people to be on your D for posting that video, you should have said so.
Also, Massive, I can't personally afford to corp battle you guys. I got like 3 mil to my name right now and I'd lose all of that in one battle. And I need to figure out why I lose so many proto suits in pub matches... I do better with type II's... I think it's because I get overconfident and run around like a one man army...

This was my experience when I was with them. They take pride in being asses. I'm an ass to, in my own way (most gamers are), so I dig it. This is what I mean when I called them douches (I expected ass to be censored).
Everyone needs a cathartic release. I guess screaming and raging in video gamez is some of theirs. At least we got a lot of people in this thread :) |

The replies to Sontie were because his assumption that we rely on gun game rather than tactics is silly. You don't win 95% of your matches (some against the better corps in beta) on gun game alone. You also can't watch one player without hearing comms and then know everything that went into the battle from a tactical or communication standpoint.
I wasn't trying to suggest that you didn't use tactics or that you relied solely on gun game. I was suggesting that while you guys have excellent gun game, your tactics could use work. And I wasn't suggesting that the tactics you did use were poor. The won and won well. It was more how individual players would assault enemy positions without support. Maybe I should have mentioned that. Does this explain the reaction? You thought I was criticizing your battlefield commander? I wasn't.
And what I wouldn't pay to hear those comms.
Also, Xeno. Eat a Mass Driver. |

But that might be your bias Kreayshawn, because of your level of gun game. You did amazingly well against some of the best mercs New Eden has to offer. You alone are enough of a threat to face an entire squad of good players. I also agree with you that with battles at this small a scale, individual gun game is more important than it might be with larger battles. It will never cease to be important. You need to know that your guys can handle themselves, and not lose every 1v1 they come across... but it's till better to 3v1 and win handily than 1v1 and win marginally.
I think that map's layout is just kinda... sucky(as a 3 pointer. love it as a 5 pointer). Doesn't really allow showing off. |

Kreayshawn Coruscanti wrote:Except this is where you're wrong, being on the outside looking in(not that it's your fault), because I did lose every single 1v1 in that match lol. I only did good because I had a team who could pick up my slack, as I personally failed 4 or 5 times in that match. There wasn't a single kill of mine that wasn't an assist for someone else(or a blatant killsteal for that matter ). I don't know I guess what I'm saying is, there wasn't a time where I didn't have at least two people shooting with me, or being close enough to help in a couple of seconds
I think you're making my point for me.
Ok, one last time, let me restate this. It was a good match, with good effort on both sides. I noticed a few minor things you could improve upon Bunnies, but then again, it isn't really my place to critique you guys.
wait
this is an internet forum
PFBHz are a bunch of tryhard trolls!!1! You guys play like scrubs! I'll dominate any of you in a 1 v 1!!! |
