The lack of team members in CCP Verita's team... Might it have something to do with this:
"And as for realism, Fannar noted that these cycles (along with the direction of the sun and the shadows) will be accurate to the actual rotation of the specific planet within EVE."
http://massively.joystiq.com/2...
The district beacons and planets would need to rotate again in EVE to properly reflect the day/night cycle on-ground, and we know having moving grids has been a huge technical issue. |

But it still means that districts all over a temperate planet will still reflect their position on a planet, even if fixed. For example a district on the nightside of a planet will have night battles occur on it, a district on the boundary of day and night should have sun rising/setting type atmospherics. |

They need to fix the grid code to allow for moving grids and/or update the grid code to make it handle merging / migration of grids if they make the district marker move to follow the district.
The latter should be possible as the marker (on earth-sized 24h planet) would migrate at a speed of about 500m/s, which is still reasonable. |

Exactly. Have you ever wondered why the planets, moons, asteroid belts, and stations never move? Because then CCP will have to calculate the locations for every warp destination to account for the motion as well as the location of every bookmark places in the system if they have to move them. It's a huge calculation that may put an unnecessary burden on the server. |

How do you exactly multibox an FPS?
You would be surprised at how resourceful people get to meet their goals without having to trust anyone but themselves. Especially if a lot of money is on the line.
1) Make tank character and get 2500+ WP per match railgun sniping stuff including RDV 2) Put your multiboxed alt inside to provide squad leader bonus. Alt gets half WP from vehicle assists. |

The alt should be the Squad Leader. On spawning, he uses the SL to mark his main as a defend order, then calls in the tank. He then puts both characters in the tank, his main (obviously) driving.
He can now turn off the alt's controller and TV, and earn +20% WP for the main, while also earning commission AND assists for the alt. |
