What the hell is up with all these Europeans thinking I'm some stupid American trying to claim our system is superior. Of course the metric system is better, only a moron would prefer the imperial system.
Now that we have that out of the way, look at the KITTEN game! What the game tells you is 30m is clearly not 30m, it's far closer to 30 feet. So since you're all oh so proud of the metric system, how about you ask CCP why they've decided to r*pe it? |

But, well, I did a little experimenting by pacing of 30 feet and squinted at various things like cars and passers by and buildings while holding my hands up in front of my face to get that real FPS perspective and it seems the game is fairly accurate. 30 meters (I am a bloody yank, after all) is not very far away. 30 feet is basically right up in your face. Especially if you are standing in the street and squinting at oncoming traffic, or, well, an LAV.
Do you have a 12 inch foot? o.O, lol jk. |
