I found your page: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=50021&find=unread
This says that there is a daily cap of Passive gain of 24.000 SP per day, or 36.000 SP per day if you're running a booster. Yet, it also says that "Daily allowance of 27,200 SP per day (hard-capped)"
These numbers do not really add up to me, as to incentive of playing verses minimally playing because you will just about cap out on SP just by not playing.
It sounds to me like all I have to do is buy the passive booster, and I could make the max "daily cap" that is allowed.
I know this isn't true, as I have made over this after the reset on Wednesday Morning; but never-the-less, the page that I found with this "cap" information doesn't seem to add up. |

SP cap is 190,400 per week, 1 skill point per war point there after up to 1000 war points/sp per match. This cap is reset every Wednesday at down time. |

The cap does not apply to passive SP. |

You're also referring to the previous daily cap - it is now a weekly cap with that number x 7. |

Active and passive SP are calculated separately.
We used to have a daily cap on active SP, this is the announcement for the old system. |

All these answers help clarify this for me, except I need a little more clarification with Django's reply.
So If I have purchased the Passive Booster, are those points calculated into the cap? Or are those points additional and do not apply to the SP that has to do with the "cap" even if I go over the "cap" of 190k?? |

passive booster adds 50% to the passive SP over and above the 24000 in 24hrs, so nets 36000 SP per 24hr period of passive boost
the active adds 50% to any SP earned in battles, this is often misread as 'increasing the hard cap', however if you earn 190,300 SP without an active booster after the weekly cap reset, you only have 100SP left of that weekly cap you can boost.
So the best time to activate a passive is whenever you like, but the best time to activate an active is before you join your first match of a week. |

The SP sources stand alone.
Passive SP:
24,000/Day (1000/hour). +50% if using passive booster. Always on one account character. Period.
Active SP - CAPPED:
Weekly, based on points earned in battle. 190,400 SP (With active booster, cap is same for 'earned SP' but actual received SP increased 50% with active booster in place, effectively increasing weekly cap 50%)
After cap has been reached, you receive SP based on WP earned only, max 1000/battle. (Received SP increased by 50% with active booster. |

Excellent, Thank you!
I was really wondering about the Passive SP (and the Passive Sp Booster), as I have been watching and calculating, and the numbers were not adding up with any of the information that I had found. Now, with all this information, it does clear it up for me, as my watching and calculating makes sense with what I have seen and what information I have gathering.
