The Minmatar are renown for relying on speed instead of durability. The Minmatar Scout dropsuit is no exception. The Minmatar Scout trades the scan profile and precision of the Gallente Scout for better speed and durability, making it more suited for raw combat than espionage and other covert affairs, though it still has a smaller signature than most larger dropsuits. The Minmatar Scout has a unique weapon layout. Instead of a light weapon and a sidearm, the Minmatar Scout has three sidearms as well as a small boost to sidearm damage. This gives up some power for much more versatility. Instead of carrying an assault rifle and a pistol of some sort, you can now carry a submachine gun, a flaylock pistol (coming soon) and a scrambler pistol all on the same dropsuit. Or perhaps nova knives if they ever stop being dead. Perhaps the most hardcore will roll with three of the same weapon, allowing them to continuously fire the weapon of their choice knowing they have two spares with full magazines.
Advantages over the Gallente Scout
- The Minmatar Scout can carry three weapons.
- The Minmatar Scout deals additional sidearm damage.
- The Minmatar Scout sprints faster and longer.
- The Minmatar Scout is more slightly more durable.
Disadvantages over the Gallente Scout
- Can only carry sidearms.
- Less precise scanning and larger scan profile.
Roles of the Minmatar Scout
- The Minmatar Scout acts as a combat scout, confusing the enemy and picking off the weak at blistering speeds.

Misses Trickster wrote:Three sidearms, i already use 2 SMG's on my scout and thats pretty damn op. Iv yet to blow 2 whole clips in 1 fight Id like to see the sidearm only kept, but boost its equipment slots, remote explosives and a cloak would be awesome The faster sprint makes sence, minmatar are the fastest race after all. Extra sidearm damage i like, they should be there own weapons
But i like the idea of having a mini scout suit with 2 revolver style guns (arti sidearm anyone?) Well, it would be a fun idea. You could have three scrambler pistols, or two SMGs and a flaylock pistol, or just a bunch of pistols in general. Also, if you have yet to use two entire clips in a fight, then wouldn't a third clip be redundant and thus not any more overpowered than previously? Anyway, the idea of having three different kinds of weapons to use is a very attractive notion. Obviously it would be overpowered if they were Light Weapons. |

Tell that to all the scrambler pistol gunslingers and dual submachine gunners. They can get by with only sidearms. Not only that, but this suit gets an inherent bonus to sidearm damage. |

This is designed to be a combat scout, not a dedicated reconnaissance scout. you have two kinds of durability currently, shield and armor. shield:highly visible on radar. armor: slows you down. so if you pick one, you are either compromising your stealth ability(an effective scout is not seen until the enemy sees the knife jammed into their throat) or speed(the minmatar relies on it's speed, so that's right out) You can have stealthy shields and speedy armor, it just comes at a price. |

Also, I never said it was supposed to be stealthy, and no, scouts don't have to be particularly stealthy. |
