Does anyone else feel the lavs are too sp expensive. To use a level 4 lav you need 1.2 million SP and you can still get 1 shorted by a good not great swarm or av grenade because there's not enough pg too add a good armor plate. My methana has 2383 armor with a hardner and I got 1 shotted by a cbr7. What is that all I'm saying is lavs should be a little better or less SP expensive. |

With a little better skills you can get them to about 3100 armor and a hardener. A proto FG with damage mods might still kill you though. |

Absolutely I feel these are too expensive for what you get from them. The shield one (I can't even be bothered to remember its name, that's how useless it is) only gets 300 additional HP and 30 additional CPU (not even a boost to PG), which sounds like a lot, but for the amount of Sp you have to pour into it, it is ridiculous. |

Granted this is absolutely true, however. What with shield control lvl 5 and armor lvl 5, as well as some well placed shield enhancers, my Saga has well over 3000 hp. Doesn't mean proto vehicles shouldn't still be significantly better than what you're paying for them. |

ya my methana cost me 50k sp, all the other skills I already had for my logi fit, it can easily take 2-3 forge hits or 2 swarm shots. not sure why you would ever need a level 4 LAV.
not like they really serve any purpose in a fight...I just have mine to make sweet heavy bumper ornaments |

I can make one with 3175 armor but no repair mod not good. |

The armour LAV is the worst of them all.

You can do so much more with the CPU they give you with shields compared to the PG they give you for the Methana (which is armour based). Further proof that CCP hates armour.
