Curse you, made me think I forgot an 's' on 'get' as well. Then I though wait that's not correct with how I phrased it and then I noticed you changed how it was phrased. If it does get locked then I'll believe a May 7th date only because I believe CCP would want us to all be disappointed by it not actually being the 6th and then they'll be all "surprise!" the next day. |

Sooo E3 was last time we actually got new content (new content doesnt entail the same reconfigured maps).
E3 last took place June 12th, 2012
New content maybe May 6, 2012
So 11 months between TRULY new content...

I really hope we haven't got to wait another month for a new build CCP.
We could really do with that new content around about now. CCP you have a core base of testers / players who want to break / test your stuff, any chance we can get to do that apart from, soon? |

E3 build had one map for skirmish, without any random variations. No laser rifles yet, no variant mass driver/forge/swarm. No repair tool in beginning. Scouts dodged bullets since we didn't have very good hit detection. No persistent chat or corps or squads.
It's been about 4 months since last build, that was mostly bug fixes nothing really added for content. Last content added was build before that in October.
Sony announced dust was ending the beta back then too, so I will believe this once CCP confirms. Sony/third party game sites have been wrong before. May 6 seems plausible though, so I expect it will be early may even if this turns out to be false. |

That depends on how you define "content." Does swapping out the Gallente AR for the Caldari constitute "new content?" In addition we got one new map back in November (the one with all the towers) and Ladders. Lots and lots of Ladders. Not to mention corps. Also Amarr Laser came out in November. Still pretty measly. But not nothing. |

you guys dont seem to remember the key concept here. CCP is full of Furry (and not so furry) Icelandic Trolls. its their job to tease us with hints and sideways glimpses at things were getting without actually giving us any info. and honestly, i love it. keeps me in suspense, waking up every morning and making a mad rush to the comp to check the forums/websites. May 6 is very plausible, and were liable to not get any official confirmation till Fanfest. it "may" happen at a sooner date, but waiting seems like the thing to do. so, untill i hear more, you can find me on the front lines, a rifle in my hands and blueberries on my back.
EDIT: more poped up as i was typing, May 14 seems liek a better date :) its a Tuesday |

Even still, if it's fake, people should worry far, far more about gameplay over graphic polishing. I may have been spoiled with SOCOM, but it's common sense to iron out all the bugs and make the physics as good as possible before making it shiny.
CCP, please don't do what every other dev does, and put out a broken game come release day, then say you're going to patch the mistakes, and end up taking half a year to patch those mistakes you mentioned, while putting out more errors with those same patches. We as gamers HATE crap like that. |
