Go shield/rail. Use compressed rails, damage mods, Active heat sinks, passive/active resisters, extenders and boosters and never look back.
But remember, skilling into hybrids alows you to use both rails and blaster. I like blaster on my shield tank. They're fun. |

Against infantry perhapse but in tank on tank battle you're going to get owned my an armor with a blaster. Armor have more EHP it's as simple as that. |

Cept they have been nerfed. 1 Swarm will do the trick. So get advanced d swarms, when u see the armor tank coming hop out of ur shield tank and launch the swarms. Problem solved.

It really comes down to play style. Also comes down to keyboard. Guarantee my madrugar is faster then ur shield.
I think what he ment by speed was actually acceleration, from zero to top speed, not strait across top speed.

A nitrous on an armor tank will make it accelerate like a gunnlogi if not faster. With a keyboard u never have to slow down, with a joystick when u turn it actually slows ur tank because the stick isn't all the way forward. On kb u are always pushing the forward button while holding the turn key, so you never slow and always stay at top possible speed.
Do you replace your booster or extender for that nitro? Or do you use something else?
