General Characteristics of a DMR:
- Single-Shot, Semi-Automatic (ARs are usually full-auto, TARs are usually burst shot)
- ROF < AR/TAR
- Range > AR/TAR
- Accuracy > AR/TAR

Dude... the TAR is a DMR... it's semi-auto and shoots past laser rifle range and right next to sniper range...
EDIT: With 60 damage per shot and good accuracy to boot. |

I would prefer a DMR kind of gun to have its own unique model. The gauss or scrambler rifle may already fulfill that role, from what we seen today, the imperial scrambler rifle has a 45 round magazine (while what I think was the assault scrambler rifle had 72), and is semi-auto (though damage, accuracy, and range are unknown). The Gauss rifle may more likely be a DMR since it has a scope. |

Not really meant to look like that (it was a photoshop). Just that, if you want to make it look different, make the whole thing look longer than the normal AR variants. DMRs are designed with longer barrels after all (not that stuff like that would necessarily apply to blaster type weapons. |
