A great idea has prevailed while i was reading the posts and surfing the forums. (not my idea)
Idea: A people HPMV a Heavy People Mover vehicle sorta like a tank but carries 8 people sorta like a Armored Rv that contains to shield (idk why) it should have like a little blaster turret on top for one person to use. Its basically a safe way to transport troops, the price should be like 60,000 for milita and you decide the rest |

This idea was brought up a few days ago. There's no point.
To be balanced, you have to have it slow, but tanky. You can't have it be tankier than an HAV, for obvious reasons, so it can't be that slow either.
My point being that a proto launcher can take out a tank fairly quickly. It being a slow tank, carrying eight people, chances are that eight people are going to die in the same second, with barely any defense.
Let's assume that it can carry eight people, plus one for the driver. A DS can carry six, seven including the pilot. Not to mention a DS is quick, people can jump out from high altitude and land on top of building to set drop uplinks, etc.
Any heavy land-based transport is, to be frank, a liability in the field. Dropships and LAVs are much more suited to this role, as they can be very quick.
Edit: An APC would be good, but there would need to be a good balance between speed and tankiness. Not to mention the fact that DS's are probably still better for tactical insertions than any land-based vehicle. |

also maybe a humvee type that has more amour than a lav but less than apc |
