Look around, listen. Not as much to what they ARE saying, but to what they're NOT.
We were supposedly on the cusp ofa big new build, fanfest, at the end of a determined year of game development.
This is PAX, a media marketplace, where word(if it's ready to be passed) gets passed.
No word. No mention. Look at the Odesssey site! The merest hint of 'the other game', nameless.
DUST as we know it is here. DUST as we need it.....is not in the cards.

Perhaps this just means that CCP is good at poker. They don't have many "tells" and they play their cards close to their chest. They will be at GDC after PAX, maybe we get a crumb of info there? Other than that, when the river card finally turns over, I'm hoping CCP is holding a Royal Flush. That's enough poker references for the night, lol. |

CCP does not generally spread word to outside events and organizers. It doesn't really make big announcements at things like E3 either, and any presence they hold there is minimal. They don't participate in much with the rest of the gaming industry.
PAX is even smaller on the radar than E3, so why would anyone at PAX know anything at all? |
