does the damage on the large missile tank turrets, does it mean 390 damage per missile or per all 4 missiles, and are the large missile turrets any good? |

I'm going to guess per missile that is of course if they are a direct hit, and from what people say in the forums the missile turrets were nerfed so not worthwile. |

Yes it means 390 Damage per missle. Also, I believe (not sure) that missle turrets fire 6 missiles, not 4.
The reason they aren't considered "good" is because of the travel time and spread of the missiles. It's not very fast. Think of Missile Tanks like the Shotgun scouts of HAV's. They're great at Close range where you have reduced travel time and you've gotten your opponent into a favorable situation but there is a lot of risk involved and if they see you coming, your easy to deal with. It's also Common for the missiles to hit something instead of their intended target and blowing up before they reach said target. When aiming with one you should always aim slightly high in order to make sure that your missiles don't hit right in front of your target.
Also, even though I compared them to Shotgun Scouts, they're aren't exactly "Better" at CQC than the other turrets. Which means that they don't really have something that they can do that the other turrets can't do more effectively.

Actually, they're considered not good because of:
> Low damage > Small(er) blast radius > Random spread while moving
> Worse than Blaster at close range (lower dps) > Worse than railgun at long range (missiles have no range...)
> If you go with large hybrid, you can use both Large Blaster AND Large Railgun
The "spread" of the missiles is just fine. If you're not moving, they travel in a tight group in a straight line.
The travel time isn't that bad. It could be significantly increased and missiles would still be meh. If it could out-range and out DPS a railgun, then they'd be better, but missiles can't.
You have to lead targets with a railgun anyways, so it's not that hard to get used to.

I'm not sure if CCP has buffed them in the past day or so, but they used to suck. As in, you might as well run around with your tank, then get out and melee people to death with a pistol because you'd get more kills than you would if you had stayed inside of your missile tank.
