It seems like everyone assumes that the event in the merc tab was changed over to the instant battle tab... but is this true? I know they SAID that the event would last til monday, but are we sure it isn't already over? Do these pub matches still effect the storyline or are they back to the normal, meaningless battles we all love and loath?

Update: This event will be running on DUST 514 from Thursday, March 21st starting at 18:00 GMT until Monday March 25th 11:00 GMT. Everyone that joins the match (instant battle, mercenary, or corporation) at least once will receive 10 copies of Federal Defence Union and and 10 copies of State Protectorate dropsuits later next week.
It is time for boots to hit the ground, mercs!
My guess is that they are giving all the suits away to anyone that plays and that the instant battles are on Caldari Prime so they probably count towards the Lore event. |

You didn't expect them to sit there all weekend long to reset the merc battle's did you?
Actual skirmish is only 2 map's atm Manus peak and Ashland but with the debris raining down on them |

they are still having to manually put in the matches too I think. Makes me wonder if someone forgot that the person responsible for that does not work weekends? |
