Okay, due to recent March Madness, I want to see a somewhat similar bracket within this game. What I'm getting at is this: any corporation dedicated to teaching new people and academics, I want you to join the first learning-mercenary bracket.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Bojo's School of the Trades Dust University
Although we are currently limited in terms of ways we can match you up, here's what I suggest:
All teams send in applications as candidates. First 8 teams that are deemed academic are the ones to participate (at least this season; if unable, we'll use the first amount of even teams available). Once deemed academic, we will slate a bracket and game times. Each game will be paid by any sponsors or personal school funds that you may happen to have. Grand prize will be whatever price the I-AML decides.
The game will be an 8 versus 8 skirmish game, in which winner takes all. If unable to provide the players, then your current player amount will be listed as your penalty.
On-the-side bets are allowed; we will establish a bracket and we will allow you to fill it out. Let's have fun with this, eh? |

What will be the proposed timeline on this? Will everything be set in stone when ISK transfers arrive, so the sponsorship can occur?
I'm thinking of running this from 3/28-4/10 and anywhere in there would be good. We're going to have a week to set up everything beforehand, and the games will work as follows:
1st Round- 100,000 ISK Contract Semi-Finals- 1m ISK Contract Championship- 10m ISK Contract
We can alter the prices if needed. Sponsorship and fundraising can occur in the week leading up to the 1st Round. However, to make things official, we need an application (in mail form) sent to my inbox. I will then create a bracket based on the rankings of the teams that are created.
Furthermore, the application should follow a similar format as this:
1) Team Name, School of Team 2) Director/CEO of School 3) Statistics for your Team (if not found on leaderboards, then state 'NOT RANKED') 4) Team Colors 5) Number of Members within the School
I'll have a bracket once the teams are submitted; we must have a number of teams that is a multiple of 4. And in order to participate, you must have at least 9 members (1 teacher and 8 students).
A maximum of one (1) teacher may participate in any game as squad leader/coach. You may have seven (7) students on your team, with a minimum of one (1) in reserve team. |

Nah, I'm not the one participating; the Time-Zones should really be no problemo.
And right now, we have DU vs BST |

I completely forgot about talking on Dust. What'd you need to say Bojo? |

1) You only need one teacher 2) Most of the time, timezones share at least two hours in which both parties can play
Technically, you don't need a teacher |

Free Healing wrote:hmmmm... maybe you should open up this League to include "Training Corporations" that act as feeders for larger Corporations such as "Greatness Achieved through Training" and Seraphim Auxilleries. Just a thought.
Also, I've got 100K on BSOTT :D
Keep the faith.
Okay, we'll include those corps, but we're excluding corps that feed for any Tier I Corps (those will be included in the Tier I League; this is the Tier II League) |

Well, I guess I have to accept KEQ, because our time frame is getting thin. Okay, so that leaves us with this bracket:
BSoT vs ?
D. Uni vs KEQ Ruff Ryders |

*= not set in stone We're still getting it set up, apologies. This is rudimentary for time appeasement, will return later and fix, with notification of fix. Also, should I evaluate some of these? I'm sure they're not all Tier 0, but they're pretty good, yet they enlisted as Students (into the school)
I recommend MEAT SLABB to the team. |

More teams are necessary if we want some good games to be played. Also, I want some footage, so if anyone from the teams could get some footage for review and upload, that'd be great. I'd love to make a commentary and review on the gameplay footage, so that'd be greatly appreciated. |
