Something that we can use to help[ turn the tide of a battle.
Let's say you're in a CP corp battle, and your MCC is already at half armor, while the other MCC at 1.4 shields, and full armor. Now this not necessarily mean you were steam rolled, they could have just held the area for a long period of time, or what ever. But say the battle has turned, and you now the tables of turned.
Your team has most, or all of the points, while the enemy team is struggling to keep a presence on the map. The issue here is: if your MCC has already lost too much health, then your team is destined to lose dispite your map domination. Unless you manage to out clone the enemy team. Which is going to be hard due the fact that most battles will have around 100-400 clones.
We need an installation, or SOMETHING that we can use to repair the MCC from the surface. Something to actually let your team come back from the brink of failure. Something to prolong a battle.
Maybe a logistic turret that fires a armor/shield repping beam at the MCC. Something that's easy to see, and easy to destroy. |

It was possible in the closed beta to actually use remote armor repairs on a dropship to repair the MCC. You could even see the effect across the map. Like the MCC flashes in a bright yellow/blue (depends if you used shield/armor reps). Which looked fantastic. After all its still a pretty big vehicle. I dont know if this was actually intended by the devs but it deffo worked. But because they lowered the flight ceiling you cant do that anymore. CCP just has to increase the flight ceiling again so that you can get on top of the MCC for a sucessfull remote repair module lock on. |

You could have it so a squad could call in a repair by sacrificing an OB.

It actually made it look like my teams was TRYING TO WIN.
But the lowering of the flight ceiling wasn't the only thing did to stop this from happening. I'm pretty sure they removed the ability to lock onto the MCC as well.
I would like to see something like this to come back. Or to bring down a MCC repairing installation.

A passive Armor/shield repairing surge From a pilot? I could dig it. It would be funny to watch the enemy **** them selves when they see our MCC gain 3/4 of it's shields back almost instantly. |

MEH
by "release" it's suppose to be possible to control the MCC. So really we have no idea what to talk about.
speculation? The person piloting the MCC will be able to choose where to fire the guns, activate modules, and fit the MCC in corp battles. |

i think its still possible to gain a lock on. But as far as im aware you had to be on top of the MCC cause of some weird centre location which triggered the lock on. |

Man, imagine the effect Null Cannons would have on ground forces. |

Well, maybe if they made it so the MCC of the team holding all the points takes no dmg. |
