Just posting to confirm that taking my PS3 to my brother's house, with a 5 Mbps internet connection solved this problem again. Synch that had been stalling on 1% at my house, completed without any problem on the first try at my brother's house. That's twice now this work around has worked for me, after the April 22 update, and after the latest "Corrupt data" error.
Please post your internet connection download speed in this thread if you're still having this problem. I'm curious if anyone,with a download speed in excess of 3Mbps, is getting this error when connecting to CCP's servers. |

I can't even install again after the update corrupted everything and deleted and tried to do it again.
Devs, let me know when you put the Dust client on disk.
As long as you are distributing through the Sony online store you are going to have these problems. I have done some internet research and many people experience this type of issue when downloading other games through the store.
My issue is when downloading the dust client from the store the install after results in corrupted data. This is not to be confused with a syncing issue. I believe these are two separate issues. |

Hey if you were able to installed in on a different account on the same PS3 you should should have access to it from all accounts. right?

Remeber you can only have your account on 2 PS# with access to download stuff from your account...
I have already done this .. I accessed my account on my roomates PS3 in which i have had my PSN account on only 2 ps# his and mines ( primary)
still same results...
But Im currently downloading the UPRISING patch ...
HOPEFULLY IT WORKS!!
Ill keep you posted .

I am running into the same synchronization problems as many other players. However, my synchronization stops at 18-20%. After several restarts and router resets I have given up until later tonite. |

Hey guys!
Just to let you know after i downloaded the Uprsiing Patch.. I was able to get into DUST!! FINALLY!!
I did get in contact with CCP support... you know that email that pop-ups if you have any issues while Dust is loading.....
they had provided me with some trouble shooting steps that seems like to much to do but really its not.. I tried it but didnt work ( they gave me this 1 daye before Uprising )
So ill share it with you guys just in case it may help you !

Please follow these steps in order to do so:
1. Logging into your router 1.1 Enter router IP into your web browser. 1.1.1 Router IP varies with the router. A usual one is 192.168.1.1, but others will be 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.0.1. If you aren't sure simply google the make/model of your router and you should find a a manual that knows it. 1.1.2 Your router will request a password. By default this is usually "admin"/"admin", ""/"admin", or "admin"/"". You can google your make/model to find out what the default is. 1.1.2.1 If you changed it and don't remember what it is your router will have a reset button which, when pushed, will reset all settings, including login/pass, to factory defaults. 1.2 Find your DHCP settings 1.2.1 For my router this is on the initial page (basic setup). 1.3 It will have a range or starting point for IP addresses. Take note of this value and make sure whatever this range is does not include all possible addresses. Set your range so that at least one value other than the router's IP cannot be assigned by DHCP.
2. Setting up a static IP for your PS3 2.1 In your PS3 main menu find settings->network settings->internet connection settings 2.1.1 Custom setting method 2.1.2 Continue as appropriate until you get to IP Address Settings 2.1.2.1 Select Manual 2.1.2.2 Set the IP address to something outside of the DHCP range you set in 1.3. 2.1.2.3 Set the default router to the router IP address. This is the same thing you put in your web browser in 1.1. 2.1.2.4 Set the Primary DNS to the router IP address. 2.1.3 Handle MTU and Proxy server settings however you normally would. 2.1.4 Set UPnP to disabled 2.1.5 Save and test connection.
3. Changing router settings 3.1 Disable UPnP in your router 3.1.1 For me this is under the "administration" tab. 3.2 Set DMZ to the IP you selected in 2.1.2.2 3.2.1 DMZ will be found under "port forwarding" or "applications". Something like that. Some routers call it "Applications & Gaming".

Synchronizing error, again. This time only my account is stalling, usually at 2%, but about three out of 50 attempts made it to 42%. The new oddity is that my brothers' accounts had no trouble synching and launching the game on the same PS3. My account is the oldest with the most skill points and equipment, of the accounts used on this PS3.
I'll post again if I work around the stalling "synchronizing..." by using a faster broadband connection, again.
A question for CCP, does each exchange during the synchronizing process have a timeout of about 23 seconds? I stall at various places between 2% and 42%, but even though the process lingers on some percentages, the process doesn't fail entirely until its been stuck for about 23 seconds. Is this the time limit on CCP's end, after which it ends the attempt to synchronize?
Why this would only happen on my account and not my brothers' accounts on the same PS3, is very odd. Mine is the only account that has purchased and spent Aurum. Is that why only my account is stalling during the synch? |

I got the same problem again. Did the same stuff again like erasing cache, reinstall game, try in another home and more. Nothing worked. The problem is every time the store or the inventory updates it just kill the game in the playstation.
Now the sync stops between 12 and 18%. If anybody need info just tell me and i can give it so the problem its solved finally. |

Its my third day CCP ignores all our bugs reports and keep the aurum spent in the booster while we cant enter to use it. Fill Tickets reports but dont expect any solution, i am waiting it and nothing is solved. it have months now with the same problem, it resolve after the store update, but the keep the days of booster wasted. |

None of their solutions helped. In the end, I too had to go to a friends house with a faster internet connection to get through this.
And even though that fixed the problem for me, I do not find it acceptable... |
