Big debate going over infantry only matches. I myself would be fine with IO matches, but not going there right now.
So instead of arguing about it, why not just stick 2-3 supply depots in every regular ambush map and increase their shields and armor by 4x. This way you have a means of changing your gear to deal with vehicles, tankers can't just blow up each supply depot in 20 seconds, and after the vehicle threat is eliminated you have the chance to switch back into your regular gear.
And before it is said, no this would not make regular ambush into OMS. OMS is where support falls from the sky periodically throughout the match, what Im talking about here is where you start the match with a few supply depots. There are already regular ambush maps with CRU's and supply depots in them, I'm just saying all of them should have at least 2.
If someone is allowed to switch to a tank without dying first, I should have a means of switching to my AV without dying. And if someone is allowed to switch back to infantry from running a tank without dying, I should be allowed to switch back to infantry from AV without dying. That sounds fair, right? |

Ooooh here's a better idea,
Why not just stream in the player called supply depots and be done with it.
That way if you want to kill a tank, you'd have even more isk risk, say, 100k isk per supply depot.
As well as get WP for every suit switch and ammo reload, so you can build that OB.
Just a thought. |

Yeah, if vehicles are to be allowed in regular ambush, then there should be at least 1-3 supply depots on every map. Otherwise, vehicles need to go bye-bye in the infantry focused game-mode. |

no OMS is better in terms of supply depot drops, installations and crus let tankers have to worry about some **** instead of farming infantry.
its too easy for a tanker to just blow up the 2-3 supply depots Vanilla ambush = infantry only OMS = just as is now
ppl want to drop tanks on ambush will have to play OMS instead of paddin their stats that being said OMS needs more maps dont think OMS has all the maps that vanilla does |
