The sky box and debris from the Titan crash may give us some hints about environments in the next build.
Folks have said you can put things like drop uplinks inside the debris, hiding them. That suggests that various kinds of terrain decorations, like plants, can be used to obscure movement but will not obstruct fire -- concealment not cover.
Seeing the same nebula from the planet that we see from space suggests the different planets will have night-time skys (and perhaps daytime sunlight) based on the system they are in. Fighting on a planet with a weak red sun could be very different from a strong blue one because of visibility differences.
Seeing the meteors moving through the sky indicates the potential for active skyboxes. That could mean more variation in backgrounds and movement confusion when trying to identify targets, especially aircraft.
Any comments or other views?
Any insight on how automated this could all be? Doing each one by hand would be a huge workload for CCP. |

It's already been confirmed that the skybox system will be comprehensive and incredibly intricate, with each planet's skybox being linked to it's place in the Eve universe.
Also, eventually we will be able to see ships in orbit in the skyboxes as well, which will mean we will have active skyboxes as per this this dev post.

As for hiding drop uplinks in debris, I heard this was a glitch but there's no confirmation of this. There nothing I can see in that that would indicate that the next build would feature maps with flora and fauna.
From what I can tell of the next build, we will be getting racial dropsuits and vehicles (Amarr and Minmatar for LAV HAV and Dropships) as well as a slew of new weapons, but I haven't heard much else in terms of maps or other content. |

The one thing that must be added to the game that would have made this event even more epic would be live view from the warbarge window.
I don't know if they will be able to show us EVE battles as they happen nearby.
But just being able tolook out of that window and see the actual planet that we are going to fight on will be awesome. |

I don't care if I look like an idiot, I'd love to jump that railing and get right up in that window pane on the warbarge. That or walk upstairs.
It'd be a kitten to code, but I'd like to see some sort of activity in the bays holding the MCCs on the warbarge as well. |
