I went LLV to rep people.... in a vechicle. Nothing like being that guy.
I was all ready to go, but everything is disabled or whatever and really it is just a glorified car.
Is there a point? Will there be a point? At least put the repping back in, idc if it is broken, it would give me a reason to play since i dropped a crap-ton of skill points to drive the damn vechicle. |

They WILL fix it (this is Beta) and logi lav's can tank a lot of damage. |

yea they can. As a solid driver, i can easily go an entire match without losing one, i just dont like that its primary function would be to run people down etc, so it really doesnt have a point.
whereas, the free light vech. can do the same, and since it was free, who cares how long it lasts. :) |

this is worrying to hear, a friend of mine is also skilling to get the Logi buggy's you telling me that they literally don't repair people like they say they do?
If so then thats a pretty big issue, especially since to get those logimobiles you have to spend more SP than you would on tanks.. |

This!!! I think people are basing their opinions of buggy's on the free ones we get, most seem to think that their literally made of paper mache or something, I honestly don't think many people have skilled into LAV's, most go for tanks or dropships.
Seriously when the people who have skilled in LAV's take to the battlefield in the Logimobiles, theres going to be alot of tears.
I hope people quote me on this on a later date when the forums are spammed with "LAV'S NEED A NERF!!!"
Lets face it, fighting a squad can be hard enough, fighting a squad thats got a buggy that not only repairs them but also maybe tough enough to provide cover in the fire fight.

And dropship pilots get told to HTFU... We only get points for our gunners killing targets and anyone we crush. Then trying to crush a dropsuit is hard cause the ground sets off our contact explosive if we hit too hard. |

invest into turrets, (rail gun turrets) and turn it into an anti tank lav. get a squad of three, have one decent gunner and either a forge or swarm launcher guy in the passenger seat. Tank out your LAV so that it can survive initial hits from anything short of a heavy rail gun, and you got yourself a very capable AV platform. One that can out run the turning speed of a tanks turret, and even if it does shoot at you, you'll be able to tank the damage for atleast a little bit. Nothing produces more laughs then when you (an lav pilot) is capable of killing a tank. |

I'm about 100,000 SP into using the limbus.
I've heard it isn't as useful as it used to be, but I'm still determined to make it a logibro for other vehicles again.
On the bright side, with the skills you need to use the limbus, I'll be able to fit an axial repair tool!!!! (only repair tool with a bonus for repairing vehicles)
I'll also be one level away from fitting prototype repair tools, which can repair 2 people at once. |

The reason to spec into these things it is that this is beta. We need to do this so we can tell the developer what is broken, and then after when they are fixed and then what needs adjusting for balance. |

I just tried mine- 1.7 million SP (not counting modules or prerequisites), 240,000 ISK per fitting (not counting the dropsuit), and it's barely an upgrade from my repair methana fit.
And I still died because an AI controlled turret sniped me out of the driver's seat. |

I've noticed the AI's for the railgun turrets are getting much better at shooting. |

Maybe you Skilled into them without asking in the Training Ground. 
Just a thought.
They have been broken for some time and if memory serves they actually used to work. I do recall several that had Skilled into them ranting, justifiably, that they removed the functionality with no compensation, warning or changing the documentation. |
