Lumi is high security space, the Caldari weren't allowed to win. We were taking down Morus after Morus, but more kept coming. I have every beleif that this would have continued till downtime and then the Feds would take it down then. Personaly, I would have prefered it if they had prepared 2 eventualities, if the Gallente won, what we saw happened. If the Caldari won, then the Titan would have fired the Doomsday and been destroyed over Gallente Prime instead. Simple branching choice, but CCP Falcon has a raging hardon for the Gallente/Minmater.
Caldari are evil spacenazis who enslave their own people now with fanatical racism, Ammarians are religious fanatics who molest children and drug slaves to keep them in line. It was hard to swallow 5 years ago and its still leaving a bad taste that this was the outcome of the Empyrian war. |

Fair enough, I'll keep quiet till its over groundside. It has been sparse but part of the appeal of the lore so far has heavily been how the players guided the plot in many ways. This feels like one where there could have been branches to direct, rather than a scripted outcome. |

The titan being sunk isn't the issue, would anyone have been surprised if the Shiigeru warped to Gallente Prime after a Caldari space victory, and the Gallente threw literaly everything that had in reserve to destroy it? 10+ Erebus DD 1 Leviathan, an act of desperation but still having chunks of Titan flying onto a planet. That map could have been set on Gallente Prime during a Caldari land assault in the aftermath as easily as it could be the Gallente invasion of Caldari Prime. Thats the issue I have with the scripting. |
