I see these dudes on the score sheet before the match and think cool, same side as the imperfects, but they are gun fighting in MCC the whole game. They go 0-0 to what, farm sp/isk.
Well thanks a ton, because somebody willing to fight could have taken your spots. Inconsiderate. |

RECON BY FIRE wrote:Buster Friently wrote:RECON BY FIRE wrote:Buster Friently wrote:RECON BY FIRE wrote:I have a better question, why is it always the players who are like 1-4 or worse who are the ones that try to suicide the AFKers? You cannot feel entitled to me playing when your individual performance is so detrimental to the team. Maybe if those people AFKed I would actually put some effort in on skirmish anymore. The difference is that they are trying. By signing up to the fight there is an expectation that you will fight. Anything less is, well, pathetic. What is pathetic is having to do more than 50% of your teams work for them. I cant even count the number of games that I personally would have something like 20-3 with 2000 or more WPs capping letters left and right without a squad just so the rest of my team could **** the match away with most of them having 500 or less WPs. That is doggone pathetic! Especially when we still lose and the enemies MCC didnt even get out of shield. Why should I put in any effort when the rest of the team is not putting in any LEGITIMATE effort? So far as I know theres people on my team throwing the match intentionally to help a friend on the other side, hows that for an exploit? Stop crying about it, use your head for more than a tacnet display, and maybe the rest of us will hit the ground and help the team win. Spoken like a true loser. Thanks for making my point for me. Good players don't hide in the mcc. Players hiding in the mcc are, by definition, bad players regardless of stats. Either play or don't play, but leaching off the blueberries for sp because you are too leet to bother with the actual game is, as I said earlier, pathetic. If we want to talk about by definition then you are obviously ignorant. Stop crying because we refuse to do your work for you and are letting yall do the work for us for a change.
Nobody is crying. Stop exaggerating. The truth is, even if great players from great corps don't farm sp in the mcc they try a lot less when they go solo in a pub match. I'm excited to see them at the start of the match then wonder why they don't perform the same without their buddy system. The worst part is players have sacrificed assets half way through the game before they realize that the skilled players don't care. And just because you top the score sheet doesn't mean you've done all the work. Some people with a lower kdr may have died a few times trying to take out a tank or dropship or a pesky blaster and eventually succeeded. Those people have done work, too. Kill a bunch of people, work done. Drop an uplink behind enemy lines, work done, in a different way. Can you measure how each player affects a game, not really. But living in the mcc counts for absolutely nothing. Go buy a passive booster and leave the spot open for someone more willing to fight. |

was just in a match with 4 players mcc sp farming
0/0 0/0 0/0 0/0
needs to stop
When the menu jams and I cant choose a suit and I get kicked from the game, I lose isk and sp and yet these fools get rewarded. |

I highly doubt you save a lack of morals just for video games. That attitude has to blur into your REAL LIFE. Doing what you want in a video game is your choice, but why would you choose a team based game to neglect its purpose? There are plenty of sandbox games that would allow you do whatever without affecting other people who rightly expect participation.
So you like to ruin other people's game experience. . . . and proud about it . . .while ENJOYING sitting in the MCC.

If you haven't noticed many blueberries are getting better. But there will always be new players. We are talking about effort here, not skill. Contribution, dude. |

Yeah people are actually crying. Tears are actually rolling down cheeks. Stop exaggerating. It's called a valid gripe. If the game is boring, do something else that doesn't screw people who can tolerate the boredom.
I cant wait to you are SP capped so you can quit dust because there will be no reason to eat a sandwhich or take sh!t while your character is nothing more than a statue. |

We are talking about effort here, not skill. Contribution, dude. Look at my previous post on the last page and then talk to me about the effort and contribution I am seeing in the game right now. This isnt an isolated occurrence either. And you are dead wrong.. blueberries are getting worse and worse and worse. Prove me wrong and you get a cookie
You know I cant prove that. Every match is different. Every one on one battle is different. I can only say my KDR slowed after rising fast at open beta. 5 years from now you will still see someone shooting at the MCC. But by then, I hope they are able to hit the squatters in there. |

Kitten Commander wrote:I love the comments against AFK farming in here. Its like you assume that one or two people could carry the entire team by participating. Apparently you dont understand just how bad the bluetards are these days.
Case in point - This morning, I jumped on before going to work. I was originally going to AFK farm while I got ready but then I saw that the match opened with only 4v4 so I felt bad and decided to actually contribute.
Soooo, what happened? I went 23/7, was #1 on the team while actively capping letters trying to win the game for the team. What was the result? A LOSS because all of the special freds on my team were too afraid to come into the complex and fight. They all kept to the edges of the map where they were safe and went 1/6 or 2/4 at best.
With that, I ask you champions of participation, whats the point? This is proof positive that you cannot backpack your entire team. All it leads to is frustration, boredom, and an increase in apathy. Id rather keep my furry butt in the MCC and continue to dream of the future while I eat my egg sammich.
You generalize the bad performance of players around you like everybody is the same, every match is the same, that a player that goes negative in one game cant have a 40 kill game in a different skirmish.
Yes, people who play games that highlight participation actually do expect that to be the main component of the match. And you ridicule this? What other types of purpose do you miss? |

I was new once, you were too. I was blueberry once, you were too. Were my c0 okie? Yeah, I was new.. but then I also read about what the objectives of the game formats were. I knew I actually needed to capture a letter to win the match Cookie denied.
You do realize that you are assuming to know what is going on in other players heads while you are witnessing them in judgement, right? And maybe you know the circumstances surrounding what led to those players to thinking that way, too.
No, cookie, I'll take a blueberry muffin. |

Situation A - There are a clump of blueberries around the CRU and firing around them, nobody is pushing out.. I spawn, run to objective C (nobody is there) cap it, and then run to objective A and cap that. Before I am done with A, the enemy had already had the time to move to C and de-hack. Wanna know where all the blueberries still are? Around the CRU or running out into the open part of the map and away from anything that could be productive to winning the match. You seem to think that these matches are coming down to the wire and you only needed that AFK'er to push you over the top. Take off the rose tinted glasses
You are not the only person with a brain that plays this game. So you can think in a creative way while those you think less off die in some inferior way, great. I witness the same thing. These mcc squatters would farm if there was picking your nose skill. And be pretty good at it.

You can QQ all you want but Im done responding ... peace out girlscout I understand the reason. Afkers are selfish dbags who care only about themselves and their stats, and look down on other players to the point they think it's ok to screw the team over in order to pad their sp. Did I miss something? You anti-AFK'ers are the ones who wants to change the rules and limit how others play the game so you can have a better experience? Now who's being selfish?
Yeah, a better experience as a team. This is a team game. How does that escape you? It's not selfish, it's a reasonable expectation. |

Kitten Commander wrote:lulz, this is still going on? CCP will never put a kick method based on warpoints.. wanna know why? because every fresh blueberry that doesnt know how to play the game yet will be kicked from the game and give up.
Wanna make the game interesting and keep people from AFKing or redline sniping? Then CCP can choose from multiple good ideas that are already on this forum
- Time limit for how long you can be behind the redline (couple minutes at least) - No WP for actions taken behind the redline - Move the redline back
Honestly, I think that they need to give a larger bonus for hacking a letter and WP for de-hacking. There should also be a bonus for being within a certain radius of the hacked letter as that will give blueberries more incentive to be in the thick of things. CCP needs to stop catering to the lowest common denominator. If they want noobs to have a chance, then they need to make a game mode or area that can only be accessed if you are below a certain amount of SP.
If you want something to change then come up with a solution instead of whining or nobody is going to take your seriously.
Solutions . . . Depending on the suit, if you sit in the MCC, a heavy will shrink into a skinny midget and must enter the next match as a midget. A logi would get a flashing message on the screen that says, "your teamwork sucks". It will get brighter and brighter until he goes blind and he must enter the next match without sight. An assault player will have to shove a Gek up his butt and enter the next match with it protruding from his butt. And a sniper will be directed away from dust to a different game altogether: duck hunt. Take that seriously. |
