I've yet to die to one, kill with them yes but still haven't fallen to them. Then again I haven't played against maken tosch recently or maybe even ever as far as I can remember |

I've had people stab me in the back with them, before I turned and shot them...If anything Nova knives sorta deserve a buff since your literally bringing knives to a gun fight. |

As a heavy i have had my back scratch repeatedly by these fellows... fortunately every time i have been able to rectify the understanding that i do not in fact appreciate my back being scratched. |

Never died to a nova knife.
They need to be able to be charged while sprinting and do more damage. |

The way I see it Nova's are execution weapons without the ohk, would a ohk in most cases be so bad compared to shotguns and sniper rifles? |

I've actually been killed by a knife guy who I saw coming once. My feet got stuck on a gentle slope and I had to reload. He was also the best knife guy I've ever seen, but still only went 4/5 for the match.
The one or two other knife deaths I've received have been sneak attacks. |

I've been killed twice... I think... by Knives.
I've seen my girlfriend die to them a few more times than me.
They need a buff, not a nerf, but after getting the primary buff they need, they might need a nerf to keep them from being TOO powerful. Hopefully they at least get some form of adjustment in the next build. |

I went 2/10 with nothing but basic knives on a militia scout suit with no other modules. I was trying to sabotage my team since I was assigned to the Caldari during an Uprising match but I tripped and stabbed two people to death. Oops. |

I have to say, I feel like if you can get within the Nova Knife's range and stay alive long enough to charge the attack, you probably deserve a OHK on just about anything. At least up to a standard heavy. |

i think this is possible, if your in a B series scout suit. you would just need one charged attack followed by a quick r3 melee.
since i cant use the B series i cant be certain |

Props to the people who play with Nova Knives, if for nothing other than sheer bravado.
I think the closest I came to them ever (aside from this one corpmate who likes to use them, and swipes at everyone when we first spawn) was playing on my Heavy alt. I was waddling over to a supply depot for one reason or another, and noticed the faint little red blip right on my tail. Turned around, and sure enough, there's a Scout or maybe an Assault guy, catching up to me with his little Space-Ginsu set out. As it happened, I had my HMG out. I won. :P Dunno how it would've gone down if I hadn't looked at the radar.
Oh, there was one time a Knifer almost got me on my Logi main. I managed to come out on top of that exchange as well, but not because I'm badass or anything. There was a metric ton of hot lead or plasma or whatever just flying all over the place, as we were at a contested objective. Not sure I got the kill on him. Hell, I'm not sure I even got an _assist._
But, yeah, big up yourself, folks willing to try those damned things. Big, huge, brass knicker-knockers you've got, even making the attempt. |

Let Nova Knives deflect bullets at the cost of stamina, and 10 meter instant death throw range then the knife explodes and deals radius shrapnel damage.
Then we can cry to nerf some knives!
[Edit]: You also gain Predator cloak while wielding it... but it depletes all your shield to keep it active. |

Nova Knives must be buffed.The charge is much too long (i don't even see why they need be charged).They should be throw-able giving an instant kill and should be salvageable.And if they must be charged at least let them be charged while sprinting. |

I once came close to being knifed, on Manus Peak. I was slightly alarmed as I heard a wierd electrical charge noise behind me, which I'd never heard before. In this case though, scrambler pistol > noisy knives.
The only time I ever saw a kill with them, it was some balls out crazy scout who ran through 4 blueberries and slashed a guy in the neck. He didn't live long to savour his victory, but it looked pretty epic. |

actually melee in generel is broken. the hit detection is awful, worse ive seen in any FPS, you need to be on top of someone to hit them, and when you do, theres no way of knowing you actually hit him unless either hes dead or you back up and look at his health bars.
youre hit radius for melee is like aiming down sight on an AR or laser rifle. it comeically small.

There is a thread I posted earlier in the feedback to address one main issue with the knives and that's in regards to the charge time and the skill book bonus which, in my opinion, should be changed. |
