We've asked for a long time, don't expect an answer lol
What I can tell you is proto packed Av grenades can 2 hit my 6k buffer tank with both reps and hardners running and pop it. |

In the E3 but build, a regular AV grenade felt around 2000 damage. This was before they were given their homing ability,. |

So maybe their direct damage is like that.
Also before several Av buffs and tank Nerfs. |

They work better against armor. My shield tank can handle quiet a few of them. |

And location matters. If you really need to kitten a tank fast throw your AV grenades just out of homing range ahead of the direction the tank is moving. When it rolls over them the undercarriage explosion gives you a nice boost to damage. |

I believe reg std AV nades do 1200 damage to armor. 900 to shield. I think. |

listed damage is splash, the direct damage is hidden right now. Look at mass driver, high direct damage and a lower splash. Listed damage is what infantry near vehicle take when av grenade hits vehicle. It would be nice if we had the other stats on the info screen.
Remote and proximity explosives don't list damage at all, old remote description listed typo 500m blast radius in old builds. |

I'm not 100% sure but there is a natural 30% resistance to them for shield tanks. Then whatever resists the tank has is added to that. So its possible for a shield tank to resist about 60%-70% of the damage of an AV nade. |

can anyone explain the blast radius for me? Pack AV has a 3.3 with 175dmg and advanced AVs have a 6.6 with 168dmg.
so is both of these situational? meaning the Packed AV is better used on smaller vehicles such as LAVs and Advanced are better used on HAV, dropships? |

What what I've best been able to figure out, the radius and damage are how it affects infantry. You can cook an AV grenade long enough for it to explode, and in that case it deals its stated damage within the stated area.
I'm not sure it makes much of a different to vehicles, since they always take the primary, undisclosed AV damage.

I'd almost say it's the other way around. Advanced have a better "seek" range than Packed AV 'nades, which makes them better for moving targets like LAVs and Dropships (if they're low enough to the ground).
Packed do more damage and are less...magnetic, which would lead me to use them against tanks.
I am no authority on the subject though, since my experience only comes from toying around once or twice before I just settled on always carrying basic AV 'nades. They get the job done against your average tryhard in a Murder Taxi. |
