Since it looks like getting stuck in maps is going to be long term problem how about giving logistics suits the ability to pull stuck players out of the mud? |

Any vehicle works fine for that purpose now.
If you discover one of these traps please report it in the Map Feedback Forum:
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=forum&c=235
Include your Region (NA/EU/where ever else), GMT (date/time), public or Corp match and the Grid Location from the JPEG in the specific Map section which includes whether the battle was Skirmish, Ambush or Ambush OMS.
Add enough description that a third party, like QA or a Map Designer, can find the actual problem. |

Just give them rags so they can shine my boots til they're like new, joking aside this has only been happening at particular spots for me. So hopefully it may be fixable without a new build |

It's true you can use vehicles to get people out -- if they are stuck in a place accessible to vehicles, if you have a vehicle available that isn't doing duty for something else and/or if you want to risk bringing a vehicle in.
It's certainly true you should report these places so they can be fixed. However, there are going to be many more building / map combinations to account for as CCP releases more procedurally generated environments.
Historically, some places -- like the top of the pipes near the base of the tall buildings on Line Harvest -- have been reported time after time, never get fixed and are not generally accessible to vehicles.
CCP have only so many resources they can assign to fix maps. Making this a player available function, while a patch, would both add value to the logi function and ease the frustration folks feel when they get stuck and until a fix can be put in place. |
