you are lol
I dont care if im lol but this thread made my laugh so much its a game no one cares if you male or female
If no one cares, why do guys (the kind who like women) always make it such a huge deal when women play? Why do guys need to be grateful that we're online? Why do guys ask for pics, automatically send us friend invites, bash us for being women (instead of how we play the game), call us names and say things I would press sexual harassment charges for if we were in person? Not a big deal? It's a huge deal. The idea of female gamers is so eroticized in many males' eyes! How dare we decide we don't want to play with men? That's what most of you who hopped on here saying this thread is "wrong" for. Most of you have never been intentionally left out of something because of your gender besides the women's bathroom. This chat isn't to "return the favor" because I hate all males. I don't. I also don't care about you guys that are butt hurt over it. Like I said before, this thing is already male dominated, so why would you want to create an all-male space? I'm sure the ladies wouldn't mind if guys joined the chat if we knew many of you weren't drooling for the chance. Check your privilege kids.
Don't think it exists, let's ask some questions (that I'll shape to gaming) to see if you have gender privilege. I don't need to know which ones are true for you.
If I cost my team a game, you can bet that neither them nor the other team will blame it on my gender.
While playing with random groups of people (75-100% male), I am far less likely to face harassment of any kind than the average female gamer.
My gaming ability won't be assumed because of my sex.
I don't get asked on a regular basis for a picture of myself.
I can expect to not be asked for my number or personal information while gaming online without showing interest.
I can be aggressive with no fear of being called a *****, *****, skank, or other derogatory words society assumes to be descriptions of females "who've done something wrong".
When I'm gaming online, I don't have to think about my gender or worry about having my mic on.
I'm not eroticized.
When I join a squad, party, or enter a game lobby, I don't have to worry about someone making a big deal about my entrance into it because of my sex.
I could continue, but I think this should be enough for folks to get the picture. Someone said no segregation. Well don't blame my desire to start this chat on me. I'm not the one making a big deal about males playing video games. I want some peace. I want to be a person playing a game. An individual. A human. I want to celebrate being a woman in my own way without being eroticized and guys haven't even seen what I look like! Don't even know my sexuality...
