I don't get asked on a regular basis for a picture of myself. I can expect to not be asked for my number or personal information while gaming online without showing interest. I can be aggressive with no fear of being called a *****, *****, skank, or other derogatory words society assumes to be descriptions of females "who've done something wrong". When I'm gaming online, I don't have to think about my gender or worry about having my mic on. I'm not eroticized. When I join a squad, party, or enter a game lobby, I don't have to worry about someone making a big deal about my entrance into it because of my sex. I could continue, but I think this should be enough for folks to get the picture. Someone said no segregation. Well don't blame my desire to start this chat on me. I'm not the one making a big deal about males playing video games. I want some peace. I want to be a person playing a game. An individual. A human. I want to celebrate being a woman in my own way without being eroticized and guys haven't even seen what I look like! Don't even know my sexuality...

Shooter wasn't being sexist. He was just saying that females shouldn't be treated differently by guys, just because they're females. Maybe he said that for the wrong reasons but he was at least agreeing with you. To be honest, I dislike the way guys treat females in this game sometimes. It is just immature and stupid.
As for why guys like girls that play video games; people like people that have some similarities with them. For example, the most popular girls in my school are not the most attractive ones. They are the ones that do sports. That is because guys in my school really like sports and when a girl can relate to them, it is a plus. I blame peoples blatant crudeness on here, on the arm-chair commando thesis. That is that people tend to disregard others' feelings when they cannot see how they are impacting them. Same reason no one will come up to you randomly and call you the f word but won't care if they say it on the internet.

In Israel they decided to make women serve in the military, since it's a small country with a lot of enemies, ut makes sense. Though, they found that on average, women can not carry as much equipment as a man. Also, doctors tended to take extra time to treat wounded females, versus males. Combatants were also less likely to surrender to females. Male comrades also tended to put themselves into more danger to save a female comrade versus a male one. On another note, women tend to suffer more serious wounds in battle due to having less bone density. Though, in terms of combat effectiveness (I.E how well they do in combat) their is now perceivable difference. Except for hand to hand combat, though, that is only based on strength. Given that fighting is not all based on strength this is not a large issue (since modern combat is not generally hand to hand). |

I already got ADV Nova Knives. Though, the biggest issue is frame rate and hit detection. As long as they fix that crap, then Nova Knives will be competitive. |
