Relatively new to the whole heavy and tank role but we should have a function to report people who take vehicles. Granted it is only a militia tank but that it is still expensive when you are just starting out and someone takes it and goes to get it killed. |

Honestly if you die and some guy steals your tank you are an idiot an deserve all the deaths that tank will inflict on you.
Think about your placement and focus on surviving the 20 seconds it takes to drop and HAV and hop in it. |

Sorry about your luck. It can be very frustrating for sure.
Welcome to dust my friend. I would say it gets better but a stolen tank/dropship or 100,000 isk lAV stings no matter when it happens.

No. I can understand reporting people for spamming your inbox so much, but you're asking for something silly over the fact that someone stole your pixels using legitimate gameplay mechanics. After all, CCP has been known to allow the following to occur in Eve Online:
1. Someone stole another player's Orca (700 million ISK) that was left unpiloted in the middle of an asteroid belt while the stupid owner was flying his Hulk (200 million ISK) next to it. Owners pleaded the thief to return his Orca, but the pilot didn't comply. CCP did nothing about it.
2. Goonswarm Federation launched a 3-day offensive against the main economic hub of New Eden (Jita 4 - Moon IV - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant) which resulted in the destruction of countless innocent ships and rocked the regional economy to its core. CCP just sat by eating popcorn saying "F**king Brilliant".
3. Hellicity Boson hosted Hulkageddon for five years straight and still hosts it to this day. It's an annual competition event that shows who can gank the most innocent mining ships in New Eden in high-security space. CCP did nothing. They still let it happen.
4. Countless players in all four corners of New Eden get scammed every minute because they were stupid enough to fall for the old 'Navy Issue Ibis' contract worth 100 million ISK. Also, if you give me at least 100 million ISK, I can give it back to you at double the amount. Not a scam, honest. CCP has let this happen for 10 years straight.
5. I can keep going, but I would have to create 5 pages worth of posts due to the 10-year history of New Eden and the character limit for posting on threads. |

Was it a Sagaris? Because I do remember stealing a friendly one of those. |

Wow Dude, what the hell is wrong with you honestly. Firstly, even if your feedback was relevant to the topic , which it is not, your tone and word completely defeats any advice you tired to give. This new player took the time out of his day to give some genuine feedback, and all you did was yell at him?
Furthermore, the OP is talking about fellow blues taking his tank not reds, and I agree CCP needs to fix this.
Comments like this do nothing for the community, and only drive new players away, Next time before post think about how it will impact the game.

Haha, seems to be the running attitude around these parts. Lots of elitists pricks who don't care about feedback to a mother-******* beta. |

Hah dude they are ragging on me I think. Anywho I think I misread your first post. However dropping and HAV comes with big risks dying when its coming down is a really big issue for your team.
Plus Im not elitist Im just sayings that is what happens in game. If the guy kills you you are going to be killed by your own tank, and therefore the guy who stole it is deservingly getting those kills, and you are somewhat reaping the consequences of your mistake. |

I wonder if this is the time to brag about reclaiming an objective by hopping out of my 1 mil fit gunloggi (last build) , hacking the objective, then driving off like nothing happened. Oh well, I guess I'll brag elsewhere... |

While I feel your pain(this has happened to me on more than one occasion), you have to understand that it is one of the game mechanics. In the future releases, they might make it where you can lock your turrets to squad mates while you are in the tank. However when it is sitting by its lonesome, it is fair game. One thing that is talked about to no end is the fact that people can hop in a tank and drive it with no skills invested into tanks. This is a problem and it should be addressed, I don't know what it would take on the dev's part to do this, but I think it is something they should seriously look into. |

Hmmm yeah it does seem odd though that friendlies guys can run over and steal your vehicles though.
Think "ID TAG soldiers carry ID TAG guns...." friendlies could have a hacking period before they can hop in. |

There's actually a fixed period when you call in a vehicle, during which your teammates CAN'T enter until you've had a chance.
When there's a longer queue for the vehicle to be called in, this delay doesn't always last as long as it takes for the RDV to drop your requested vehicle off, because the timer runs based on the time you made the request. If they increased the timer, or if they made it work based on the "confirmed" time instead of the request time, then we'd have a more consistent window in which the owner is the only one able to enter.
But there DOES need to be a quick and easy way for your teammates to take over, because if you get sniped on the way to your vehicle, and you left it locked, would you really want it to sit there and be useless to everyone until you get there? Or for it to be locked so that the enemy can come up while someone's trying to hack it, kill them and steal your tank so it ends up with the reds instead of blues? |
