Now as we know it is super annoying to have a team mate steal you LAV while you are taking an objective or had to get out to kill someone.
So what i am suggesting is a system maybe a module or just something you can chose from the vehicle fitting screen but the option the Squad lock a vehicle meaning only you and the rest of your squad mates can hop in. |

Yeah I agree, it's like you spend 70,000 isk on an LAV. You roll up to the objective, jump out to help take the place.
Then BAM blue berry is like DERP DERP LET ME TAKE THIS AND DRIVE IT NEAR THAT RAILGUN INSTALLATION!
It discourages me from calling a good LAV unless I plan to just murder taxi the whole match! |

Yea, i haven't speced into LAVs yet but i will and hopefully by that time you will be able to squad lock vehicles |

I think this will be mitigated when the corps move more into Planetary Conflict when the only people on your team should be corpmates and allies. Hopefully the corp would cover your costs if someone steals your vehicle when you are defending corp property.
Off course this doesn't help in instant battles. |

Well it would be helpful in all modes instant battles and corp matches and while defending or attacking another planet. |

Perhaps they should be squad lockable but anybody else who wants to use them I.e either the enemy or other blues would need to hack them to gain access. It would be somewhat strange that the enemy can currently hack your vehicle but members of your own team couldn't.
Of course if a member of your team, outside of your squad, did try to hack your LAV a warning would be sent to you and you could block the hack if you are x meters from your vehicle. |

If a team mate were to hack your own vehicle that wouldn't make sense. he's on your own team. That would contradict the whole team work thing. |

Hasn't Dust already went past 2 years? Or at least 1 year 6 months. If were counting closed beta and open beta |
