As ZionTCD's official spokesheckler i must say the information released about ZionTCD is absolutely appropriate and warranted.
Further, there should be more of it. We need more spy data from interested parties to flay open their operations and petty bickering so we can find further amusement. The accusations that Cerebral Wolf's post is a personal attack and should be removed is the rough equivalent of demanding a TV newscaster be fired because you think he called you a poopyhead to his wife once.

This is a sideshow, a hobby to entertain us until the next build where we can actually do more than farm SP in public matches.

it's a different level of gameplay. Not everyone playss for the shooting and running. they play for the information hoarding and failure cascade generation.
To some players it's not the number of fights won. It's the number of enemy alliances exterminated.

it's an excellent outlet for aggression and needlessly dickish behavior in a medium where actual people are not harmed, real money is not stolen and real lives are not lost.
To equate a giant game of make-believe, or to use a rather inept childhood metaphor, "Playing cowboys and indians in space" with the behavior of psychopaths is a shallow comparison and an indication that one has no intention of thinking through the ramifications.
After all, what would the bad guys of DUST (all of you) do without the good guys (the Holy Goon Crusade) to rage and rail against? |

ok everybody, It's another update from ZionTD's official spokesheckler!
A lot of you are curious why Zion is so deserving of the problems they have earned over time. i'm here to tell you that ZionTCD absolutely fills a vital niche in New Eden.
TCD is a toy the experienced players in the metagame use to keep their techniques sharp and allow themselves the fun of harvesting tears in the most brutal of fashions, as seen in CW's epic infiltration post. It lets us know that the maneuvers and tactics vital in EVE online will survive here, in DUST 514.
Further it provides new spymasters the opportunity to cut their teeth on an untested foe, allowing them an entry level enemy with which to enter the EVE metagame proper. Here they can scam, steal and spy their hearts content with little/no fear of meaningful reprisal.
I say meaningful because despite what TCD has on their site, releasing IP addresses publically constitutes personal information that can be used to track people IRL. Giving out peoples' PSN names provides an avenue for out of game harassment that I guarantee you Sony will **** a golden, barbed brick over because the PSN handles are SONY's domain not CCP's, and it will be added to the EULA sooner or late. I repeat, PSN IDs are SONY controlled not CCP and using them as a vehicle for harassment will cause problems for us all. Don't do it. Your only hope is the CREST ID.
Until then, there Zion remains a good place for people to absolutely ruin someone with no meaningful problems. it's what newbie corps are for. training for the big boy games. Because at the rate they're going TD will only ever be a training corp.

The twisting it to try to say its CWs fault for inviting stalkerish behavior is rather akin to prosecuting the victim in criminal court. Yes, shad must have been fully within his rights to go neurotic over a game because a phone number happened to be in a place it could be found...
