The community is better off with you guys taking all the crap players, your corporation serves as an instant identifier of who the winning team is going to be, the side that has fewer of you. I actually feel bad playing against you, its like going into the "special" class and beating one of the kids in chess, yeah I won, but there was no challenge.
So congratulations, you actually manage to make me not want to play against you because it robs me of the feeling of a legitimate victory over a competent enemy. |

You guys lost to GEN and contraban broke his mag disc. I was there.
Hello sir,
If you don't recall, that was the wager for the battle. The leader of the losing clan would break their disc, Joe was true to his word. Owning the downloadable version of MAG rendered the disc useless, anyway.
EDIT: Your anger is quite alright, Heathen. I understand your frustrations and take note of your emotion. |

How did you get anger from that post? I was pointing out facts. I was there that day. GEN had terrible teamwork and communication and you still lost. How does one lose to GEN? So bad. |

I like the fact that zerg corps exist, it'll be funny to read about the conflict between zerg corps and elite corps when planetary conquest gets implemented. |

Heathen Bastard wrote:yeah, brag about your numbers all you want, you can only field 16 at a time. 16 at best average players versus 16 of these "elite" players who have the better teamwork, suits, guns, and map advantage due to being on their home turf. you can't even win when there is no map advantage or the map is advantageous in your favor.
now then, I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt and say those 16 you field may even be better than the average blueberry(unlikely, I know but bear with me) you're still going up against other corps that recruit well, not with trying to bully random people into joining, but by field testing blueberries(sending out a non-filled squad and seeing if anyone joins, and if they do, seeing how well they respond to orders, and how good they are with their weapon of choice) Finding out their skillset and working them into the group so each squad is balanced in a tactical manner.
tell me, who do you think is going to win, the well-equipped, used to working with each other, squad of the best an "elite" corp has to offer, or your group of people who for all we know are meeting for the first time due to your corp's insistence on quantity over quality. I know which side I'd bet ISK.
Someone obviously doesn't get how these battles work. We can field much more than 16 at a time, in fact, we can field 160 at almost any given time. We can field the number of districts you own x16, read the dev blog a few more times, your reading comprehension obviously needs a little work.

Way to twist the situation to work to your favor, mind if I list a few more of the facts?
You where there? So was I, and I don't believe you were a member of GEN the day before the battle. I'm not saying you weren't there, but I am saying that GEN didn't win that battle.
Every PRO player in that battle was a permanent member of PRO, in fact, we had over 80 PRO show up to be a part of that battle. All of GEN's top players in that battle, including yourself, weren't members of GEN just hours before. I'm aware there was no restriction on ringers in that battle. I'm also aware that GEN did not have the numbers to field a full team without you. Don't act like we got stomped either, a majority of PRO went positive, several with 40+ kills, most with 35+.
Yes, we lost that battle, with less than 5 seconds left, because of GEN's ringers. So, while it is true that we lost, we did not lose to GEN, we lost to a group of organized ringers with a bunch of GEN behind them. |

I was ringing in that battle. PRO had Rascal from GUN and 1 more ringer that I can't think of atm. (It might have been tards R us or uber tard. It was to long ago to remember.) So that's really not an excuse. Given GEN had about a full squad of ringers. You still shouldn't have lost PRO>GEN tbqh
EDIT-Only nubs go to community colleges. |

PRO don't do ringers. 'Twas actually a strict rule against them, anyone who ran with us that night had spent a fair amount of time playing with the clan.
It's a pity that a year on you still have the same atittude, Crimson. I would have expected more.
Have a fantastic evening, guys. |

Gun Rascal actually played with us quite regularly, I had fought with him many times outside of any type of clan battle, long before the GEN CB.
We did have many old members that came back for that battle, but all of them had been full members of PRO at one time or another. As Carl stated, we had a strict rule against ringers in that battle, and we adhered to it. |

You can attack different districts at once, you can only field 16 mercs of degrading quality(assuming you send your best in descending order) to each battlefield
ergo, you can only field 16 mercs in any given attack on a district. so while 4-6 people hold the line against your top 16, the rest will be killing their way through the rest of your units, repelling the attack, and costing you(assuming 10 districts as you did) 200 million isk without accounting for things like cost of tanks, equipment, and the like.
also, mercs can be temp-hired to hold a district, just in case of lacking numbers of people who have fun killing lemmingzergs. so basically, for the right price, your numbers(your corp's sole redeeming feature) are insignificant. so basically the only people you'll be able to beat are severely poor newberries, then they'll complain, and people may decide to go after you pro bono. |

I agree, your reading comprehension on how Plantery Conquest will work is fail. Please re-read and ask if you have any questions. If you don't understand my response, I can explain it.
PRO is like STB, very poor leadership.
Ask CBJ how he quit out on his corpmates during one of the CBs we had with them. Think we lost 5 clones. STB has more talent though (something I thought I'd never type.)

you're outclassed, but you have money... what, are you going to hire people to do your fighting for you, or just try to pay the other team to throw the match?
the other pro's seem to think you have more players than everyone else can kill. Kind of a stupid strategy to me, but then again, I fight to preserve teamates, they have the good suits, the good weapons, I'm a distraction at best, a killer if unnoticed, a hunter of enemy vehicles, and a snappy dresser(hawaiian shirt is best shirt) |

Could only be 166 legitimate players. I hope there is a way to distinguish this in future, but is a mechanic in EVE so probably not.
also this ^^ applies to every corp out there so PRO don't feel singled out. |
