The problem is not that there isn't enough to do, its that most of the people that are getting bored play 24/7....
Even if they add a new map, or a game mode, its still the same "shoot em in the face till they stop moving" and even if they did add content, in another month its gonna be the same "its getting boring".
I started with Open beta, just got 10k+ kills and getting near my 5m sp, i also play Eve, finished aliens colonial marines (awfull craptastic game) and gonna do some Deadspace 3 this week besides dust 514.
Noone is saying you need to play this game till the parts fall off, you can easely combine 2 or 3 games, or gasp... play another game and come back in a month....it's still gonna be here...but ow ..theres the problem youll be behind in SP ..
If you are having issues now, you won't last the next 10 years as it gets as awsome as Eve... |

I liked Trion's Rift and killed all raid bosses and ill try Defiance, but its another Grass is Greener on the other side...
Sadly trion doesnt know how end game content works and while they always added in raids at a very rapid pace, they were plagued by bugs, bugs and more bugs. Like raid mobs went invul at 20% health etc ...
Eventually all the veterans quit due to bugs...so unless they learned allot from Rift, Defiance is gonna be the same.. |

Though what defines end game in something like Defiance that is always changing to keep pace with the show and in game developments? With a 5,000 level cap (which takes years to reach), your skill with weapons increase, your ego grid, and other special things you can unlock through play your end game is going to be vastly different than my end game.
sadly if its a shooter on PC, its gonna be plagued by aimbots & wallhacks, having played em all on PC, i finally came to a console to get rid of em and to get rid of 5-8 "yer hacking" pm's each evening.
But yeah i hope it suceeds, i loved Rift, but bugs and constant nerfs to my class were the dead of me there. (My Beta key for defiance is already registered :p) |
