From what i am seeing here, all clones are created equal. How do you explain the mass difference between a Galente Scout and an Amarr Heavy? I mean correct me if i am wrong but the lore behind the heavy is that they are augmented with two spines to compensate for the weight.Think about it. A Scout Clone with an HMG is like a 13 year old swinging about a tree trunk with one hand.
Yes, this is a bit of a joke thread, but it makes you think. Even if its only for a second. Either way i am excited this is a good first step in the right direction. Thanks for lifting the skirt CCP. |

There's a lot of small lore holes in the game mechanics, e.g. how come we get to keep our suit / tank after battle when those are blueprints and used to build the items on-the-spot?
And battles end by the mercs on the winning team clone-jumping home the capsuleer way; e.g. suicide. |

DUST is carbon neutral. We recycle all the mercs who didn't die and all the ones who did. |

Clones... For clones most important part are... brain and implant.
Just your dropsuit can be biological/mechanical prefabricated body. You can only inprint (switch) your mind. So... clone can be created like Fast-glued-Frankenstain .
'Parts' can be almost the same - strenght/skills comming from your implant. I prefrer thinking about clones like bio-robots.
For civilian use you can use more human clones with all function enabled.

Remember, the suits themselves aren't just armor plating, but also contain things that enhance your strength and the like. Not all of the effort is done by the body. |

Yes all clones are equal. The Dropsuit itself is a different story. The devs stated that they want to make dropsuit classes from each race. So it will be possible to see something like a minmatar assault dropsuit or a caldari logi suit. At the moment we have this here: caldari= assault gallante= scout minmatar= logi amarr= heavy
When the time comes we will have each race in all dropsuit categorys for example:
caldari= assault, scout, logi and heavy gallante= assault, scout, logi and heavy minmatar= assault, scout, logi and heavy amarr= assault, scout, logi and heavy
They wont have the same stats but other specialisation. I could imagine that the caldari heavy would have 800 shields and 100 armor. As weapon maybe a heavy fully auto missile launcher that is equally effective against infantry and vehicles. (no not a swarm launcher) |

its not like the dropsuits have zippers the clones don't come out just think of your different fitting as different clones puts a bit more meaning to skeletons in your closet. |

would you be so nice to point me into the right direction to this item of lore? I would be very interested in that (no, I haven't read Templar One yet)

Lore quick fix: clones as a resource include additional components to build any standard variation of clone. If I can get a tank built in 15 seconds, I don't see this as being that much more difficult. |
