But why? There is no request, only a complaint that 90% of blueberries I come accross are just totally terrible..'
The request should be: please make training missions...or something of that nature.
How do you expect matchmaking to help? IQ / Reflex tests taken to determine your current level of play?!
When a squad of 3 can get 47/80 kills on your team and have 0 deaths, but the game ended with your team only having 30 or so clones, you know there is a problem. |

Schalac 17 wrote:I find the problem with assault is that the mode is all around ******. The spawn points are horrible, the maps are predictable and once the other team has a few heavies camping you into your spawn point the only thing you can do is leave because you are not going to spawn alive. And no the answer isn't to get better. CCP need to fix their system to level the playing field. They need to add alternative spawn points, inaccessible areas for each team, team spawns. I can't even count anymore how often at the start of a game I would spawn right in the middle of enemies. What is the point of that? Why do they spawn teams all spread out at the start of a match and mix them in with the enemy team?
CCP has to fix nothing. Bad spawn points?
Drop an uplink or flank the spawn campers and KILL THEM, because, you know where they are just AS MUCH as they know where your going to spawn.
Heavies? theyre a joke.
AR eats a heavy sniper 2-shots a heavy a good nade kills a heavy
The things you got to worry about are not heavies and tanks, they are EZ to see, slow, and predictable mostly.
You NEED to worry about proto quad dmg mod assaults with Balacs, the occasional good sniper, laser riflers and most of all scouts with shottys, cuz theyre fricken fast and dont show up on minimaps.
Anyone who complains about a non-level playing field is
1) Not using their minimap 2) Doesnt know theyre rock/paper/scissors 3) Too stuborn to change fitting to adapt |

with out a lvling system and the fact that we can change gear on the fly, mixed in with leaderboads being full of **** and the game being new...how do you expect a matchmaking system to work in any judgmental fashion? |

And how do you suggest to do any of this when you die as soon as you are spawned? I have been in 3 matches now where the only way to deal with the spawn mechanics is to just not spawn at all. It is a horrible system that every other FPS in the world has dealt with already. Yet CCP is still young in the FPS world and it is entirely too easy to spawn camp people.
As a dedicated tanker that plays 90% ambush/OMS and runs a militia BPO fit raven suit 1/4th of the time...I do not see how this happens to you on a regular basis?!
Might I suggest not spawning on the CRU/Drop-Uplink
furthermore if theyre CRU camping the crap out of you, drop an uplink for your team!

Moonracer2000 wrote:I think matchmaking would improve if the game tried to separate preformed squads and solo players. By that I mean if you join a quickmatch in a squad there will likely be two or more squads on either team. If you join a quickmatch alone then both sides will be mostly (if not all) be solo players.
This wouldn't fix everything but it would probably help.
Good idea! But:
1) you can join or disband squads in the barge
2) You'd never make new friends!!! :( |
