Hate to beat a dead horse, but why again was this slowed down? Everyone had the "advantage" not like a bug or glitch or something people skilled into. It promoted skill and aiming, separated the slightly worse from the good players. So. Shouldn't it be increased again, now that hit detection is also 60% better? |

Hit detection on scouts is still wack. CCP fails at proper hit detection/hit boxes so they just nerfed strafe speed. That and they fail at balancing KBM vs DS3 which is another problem with faster strafe speed. Aim assist on the DS3 was insane when we had healthy strafe speeds. |

Fix hit detection then increase strafe speed. This game needs to get much tighter so we can make it competitive. |

Go look at the link moejoe posted in "why scouts are underpowered". Hit detection/hit boxes on scouts is still broken even after CCP nerfed strafe speed. |

I have to agree with this. I swear I'm getting direct hits on them with the Mass Driver with no damage detected, not even splash. Don't get me started on elevated targets. |

scouts have a higher base speed. I think there should be mods to increase base speed as well |

Honestly, I don't see any issue with the current strafe speed. CCP Wolfman clarified in his forum posts that the strafe speed on the Assault suit was reduced by a neglibible amount, with the major reduction being to the Scout suit, and no other suit being touched. They reversed most of that reduction in response to our feedback, and I feel like I'm perfectly mobile enough using a Scout suit. |

The speed of a strafe doesn't effect the equation of hit detection at all? I'm sorry but you are the idiot here. |

I kinda like the accelerated strafing we have now over the snappy one of the closed beta. I think what they should actually do to help nova knife users is make backpedaling slightly slower your speed. Using a nova knife on someone that's backpedaling and shooting at you is a dumb move, but should've feel impossible to do. |

IF they up strafing speed now, they can't add in specialized suits later that could have higher movement speeds, idd rather see it as an option someone has to choose for then something everything has.

How about you learn to aim scrub and stop crying about someone being able to move left and right in a high health shooter. EVERy dustoid voice* " I can't aim with a DS3! Please ccp nerf strafe speed and give me KBM so that this game will be easy for players who suck. |
