LOL clones are district bsed. Not corp based.
Which means a 16 man skilled corp with 1000 clones can hold onto a district attacked by a NPC corp. Its good practice for the B and C teams. |

Welp for and of Test Alliance pilots to fire an OBS a squad in Pro would have to cummalative 2500 WP. It has been tried and tested that they cant do that in a corp match.

PRO has a lot of players very few good players. Not trying to be mean but the majority of them are not very good at all, I would say like 98% of them. |

Its actually a clever system, the more terrotory you have the harder it is to mount a good defence.
Too many vulnerable districts at the same time, could mean having to choose what districts to defend. |

Not to bash a corp I was in previously, but well actually everyone said exactly what I was thinking above. But the fact is, everyone has to remember anything can happen. Look at what G I A N T did to STB in the tourney. No one is safe, unless they prepare to fight for every battle. And that's the key: preparation and not taking your opponent for granted. |

I doubt that, even the Imps aren't as paranoid and spam happy as joe is, plus if the imps controlled it PRO would be trying to troll everything, which they wouldn't even be able to do, as they are to busy making goat noises. |

To be frank with you guys, no corp/alliance no matter how big can last forever. Case in point: Band of Brothers being taken down by a disgruntled director who was spying for Goonswarm Federation with the help of Sean 'Vile Rat' Smith (may he r.i.p.). Even today, goons are starting to take back seat in the grand scheme of things and even purging some member corps. Against All Authorities, one of the oldest alliances in New Eden, fell apart not too long ago.
It is only a matter of time until someone in a very high position says 'frakk it, I'm disbanding everyone'. |

It's impressive how often people have to put down pro to reassure themselves that they are making the right choices here in Dust. Seems people are almost as afraid of them as they are the Imps, just for different reasons, based on how much effort everyone exerts trying to convince each other they aren't afraid of them. |

Depends on what metrics you're using. Clearly OSG is going to have a much tighter and organized force. Their smaller contributions to the universe will be more coordinated and what they do HAVE or ATTACK will nr a more challenging fight (on average).
On the other hand, it's going to be a lot harder to cut off the head of PRO. Their talent is spread a bit thinner, but don't underestimate a semi-casual player's ability to do "well enough" to make the random battle to take a random district from their conglomerated holdings a real pain in the ass. They are going the attrition route.
it will certainly be interesting to see how every corp's different meta-game strategies play out long term. |

My definition of a scrub corp is one that sucks at the metagame. If you just want to see who's got the best muscle memory, go play CoD.

Threaten every corp in the game. Check
Run around on the forums calling yourself the GOAT. (greatest of all time) Check
So yeah the meta game of PRO isn't any better then the meta game of negative feedback. Actually our meta game is rather similar other then the way we view skill>number. |

I have been doing that in eve just fine for last 7 years.
CCP is just making this planetsim514 because thats all they know how to do.
in an fps where the corp battles are only 16 v 16 you dont need 1000 people be talented. Then again average players in eve hide behind numbers too. Guess its true in dust now |

a planet will have anywhere from 5 to 24 districts, all of which will be vulnerable for one hour a day. If you want to even own a single planet you'll need AT LEAST a few hundred guys, 16 dudes willing to be on call 24/7, or pay out most of your earnings to contract others to fight for you at a premium

Yes, yes, insult us. But when we throw a thousand unarmed headless chickens into the fight lead by a few people who know their **** you will all cry. Of joy from all the targets.
Now seriously: Numbers have their advantages. You can either have a "select few" corp where everyone is elite, but you don't have great numbers, or you have a "everyone with a gun is welcome!" corp where your numbers are very high but the elites are few and far in between. |
