Just remove free AV , bear with me now, I have no problem with skilled AV they are fine
but the fact that EVERYONE getting AV options is stupid maybe the sentinels only.
Half the team focuses on me and IDC about winning it matters little in new eden money is the essence
Hey I got 20 mil so try harder nublets.
Sorry for annoying you because you can't use your ARs to kill vehicles. |

Really, another topic? AV KILLS VEHICLES. IT IS IN THE KITTENING TITLE OF THE WEAPONRY! ANTI-VEHICLE! GET IT THROUGH YOUR SKULL! They will give the newberries AV fits specifically to prevent being stomped with no recourse simply for being new to the game. |

Why make a topic about this discuss it for 5 pages then just make a duplicate of it?
Its a good way to become unpopular I am not replying to this thread or any of your other myriad of nerf/remove free av threads theres only so many times you can try to rationally discuss thing with people before it becomes like banging your head against a wall.

How about we just take out Militia gear entirely? I mean, Nova Knife and I were talking about this in IRC the other night.
Unlimited free items in a game with a massive player-driven economy seems a little dangerous, just as far as the BPOs for infantry modules are concerned. Why not have you start out with 100-500 starter fits, and one of them gives you an unguided AV weapon. At the very least, you should have to train up to use seeker weapons.
As far as vehicles, being able to use even a crappy vehicle without training any skills is kind of dumb. People may argue that they're crappy enough to not be a threat, but tell that to all the YouTube videos of Sicas and Somas dominating Ambush matches with less than 3k total ehp.
Super-cheap options for new players? Sure!
In some cases unlimited gear with no SP required to use it? Not so much. |

I don't see a reason to complain a Militia tank should get destroyed by Militia equipment. They are equally bad.
Let av grenades be free they suck against decent tanks.
Half the team focuses on you? When i play and the enemy team calls in a tank maybe 2-5 guys try to take out the tank. Sometimes even less. So unless your talking about corp matches were skilled layers play don't bother calling in a tank unless its godly prototype.
The fact of the matter is that you might just suck with tanks and need more practice try putting some good modules on it. I can usually survive a whole match in nothing but a Soma (Militia tank) With some modules and get 15-20 kills. |

Remove ALL AV and give the AR&laser 100% efficiency vs vehicles. Bring back the replication Sleek AV nades which could kill full squads of infantry too :p

2-Yes Blueprints should be like in EVE
3-AV is unbalanced because it's like a militia shotgun with LR range killing proto heavies.
4-Limit the Free AV to sentinels , if not make the free AV a hybrid Militia swarms are biased to armor.
5-Community may oppose this because they are enjoying the easy kills , take notice CCP. |

Let's just get rid of vehicles completely.
It's not fair on me because I can't kill tanks with my AR, I can't reach out at dropships with it and LAV's move reeeeally fast!
But seriously dude, I don't think taking away the starter fits will help you survive more.
What would a militia av fit cost ? 15,000ISK at the most.
I'm sure that wouldn't deter people from wanting your tank to go boom.
Also why haven't I played a game yet where 7 newbies all respawn with av to take down a tank using teamwork and firepower ? (check out one of his previous 37 threads an you'll get the full story). Sounds kitten awesome to me! |
