I know i started this game myself just 2 days ago but i noticed a trend and did some battlefield surveillance (watched game plays on youtube lol) anyway i noticed medics aren't protected in ambush games and people don't protect the guns in skirmish mode either so in skirmish protect the sites by up 2 5 people per site with a medic on at least 1 site and have trrop carriers carry clones to sites under distress and have 2 medics on board at all times to use it as a medivac
now as ambush goes if there is medics protect them(like skirmish) if there isn't become one then the other players should protect them stay in groups of 5 with the medic in the middle advance then when you reach the other side turn and repeat watch out for grenades and vehicles if a vehicle approaches that's when the anti-vehicle person takes them out grenades disperse until it detonates then advance to cover then medic heals any wounded if your a pilot take planes or troop carriers filled with medics and use it as a medivac and have people manning the weapons to shoot anti-vehicle personal
you follow these tips and your side will win all the time or until the other side does it then adapt

don't be sorry, this is new eden, his little dream was going to die sooner or later, be it from realizing that grouping newberries up like that just makes for easy group kills by players with good guns and high skills, or from the fact that newberries run 'round like chickens with their heads cut off. |

again, new eden, may as well get it over with fast, like jumping into an ice cold pool instead of dipping your toe and going in slowly. |

you follow these tips and your side will win all the time or until the other side does it then adapt have fun and good hunting mercs That is a game losing idea, plus pretty much all forms of AV shoot faster than turrets and given how blueberry gunners have this wonderful ability to ignore the obvious target/guy with AV/guy I have been hovering over for the last minute so get the kittening idea already you stupid blueberry oh looks now he's gone and killed a teammate why the kitten did you not just shoot him? and why are you using the missile turret against infantry? there's a blaster turret on the other side that will actually hit the kitten's you kittening useless berry. Basically this would be a rather useless idea. |

The problem right now is with the game mechanics- it encourages zerging. Can't wait until clones cost money, and (hopefully) people can no longer spawn on NULL cannons. It's extremely cheap to stop a hack by spawning on top of the hacker with an HMG heavy instead of actually guarding the objective. |

not all of us are playing the pub matches for victory. we dont get any extra SP, it is not worth it to some players to tryhard for random people and waste isk on carrying them to victory. some of us just shamelessly farm kills
i like how you think tho about protecting the turrets. we do not have enough players currently to do this without pursuing the hack points. the player count is too low for it to be a strategy for victory but it is fun to do tho and rack up kills, i have always had this same idea- the turret is basically trolling everyone, they come to kill the turret operator expecting him to be another lone turret operator but instead get ambushed.
you have to network with other players. expecting the randoms to work out will bring you much disapointment

Actually, jumping in all at once will give the body a tremendous shock from the lightning-fast cold, which can lead to all sorts of problems. Getting in slowly is generally a better idea, if only marginally. |

For the original poster, there is some good information here.
Just sift through the insults calling you a noob, as they are pointless and just someone trying to prove their virtual superiority.
The only thing that can really make you better at anything in life is practice...Chuck Norris could describe how to roundhouse kick to you, but without practice you'd probably epic fail :P
Just use gear that will hurt minimally ISK-wise upon clone death and keep playing matches :)
Good luck! |

You might want to invest in some shield recharge and extender mods. Armor repair is another option. Max out the skills related to these mods to get a % recharge rate. |

Skilling into shields is a long and expensive road, especially if you want the passive boost to shields. However it is worth it, learning to pay attention to your shields and manage them well will help you survive much longer. Also youll need to learn to pick your battles, you should know this by now but don't engage a heavy in their optimum range 1-30ish m depending on their sharpshooter skill. If you must try to work their HP down from cover, preferably with a squadmate . When you pull your sights up on an enemy you can see what type of suit they're using, if its advanced or Pro you need to consider their potential fittings and skill as this obviously isnt their first rodeo, engage them carefully and help ftom your sqd. If you're solo and not running in a squad, get in one and stick with them, use team chat.
Most importantly, join a good corporation, you need player's with experience giving you advice on various fittings, skills and playstyles. Running with a squad of guys you play with regularly you'll have much better matches.

They're a response to the original OP which read:
Quote:I know i started this game myself just 2 days ago but i noticed a trend and did some battlefield surveillance (watched game plays on youtube lol) anyway i noticed medics aren't protected in ambush games and people don't protect the guns in skirmish mode either so in skirmish protect the sites by up 2 5 people per site with a medic on at least 1 site and have trrop carriers carry clones to sites under distress and have 2 medics on board at all times to use it as a medivac
