Didn't the Yulai Accords give jurisdiction over capsuleer conflicts over to CONCORD? If so, what kind of 'person' are capsuleers and what kinds of laws are we bound to? I feel like this is an issue that should be looked into before we help the universe devolve into chaos through conflict. It'd be nice if we got a sort of Mercenaries bill of rights that we could maybe even negotiate against capsuleers.
Personally I really want to be able to do something that can trick CONCORD into shooting capsuleers. |

Isn't that already an established pastime in EVE? |

Essentially Capsuleers are their own 'nation' but must respect all other nations thus any violation of any 'nations' sovereignty is frowned upon unless done via legal means such as war declaration and respect of law within other's territory.
We are still legally equipment, thus there is a law that prevents any highly technological advantage to be exclusive to any one nation, for example a new electronic warfare suite that allowed even the most compact ships to have one installed thus the kitsune electronic attack ship was designed. Caldari attempted to be kept exclusive by passing it off as an assault frigate but Concord found that there is too much of an advantage and gave the tech thoery to the other 3 nations who then took it adapted it and made it its own. I am quite sure Yulai is mulling over it now, after all we only been public domain for a month an a half.
The other nasty bit about us being equipment, is that anti-equipment weaponry is allowed to be used against us. Where as using such weapons against normal soldiers is frowned upon for being inhumane. Immortal soldiers just don't seem to care how they die though.
Amarrians wouldn't have had exclusive rights to immortal soldier tech for that long after concord found out. While concord unofficially hates the immortal soldiers and tried their best to prevent propagation at least having all four empires have em was a much better alternative when that plan failed. |

Yes, it should be in Dust also. Like we should be able to call a strike in high sec, and there would be civilian targets on the ground, and if the guy shoots them, then KONKORDOKKEN! |

Well then it is my understanding that the actual 'owners' of districts is going to be corporations and not necessarily capsuleers or mercenaries. So I guess in that way the property itself is protected by law, but the mercenaries aren't. |

Exactly what kind of protection do we need, we're functionally immortal, and most are borderline sociopaths / full blown crazy already. I think everyone else needs protecting from us. |

Which is why CONCORD tries to protect civilians from capsuleers. |

Further more why CONCORD tried to wipe us out in the first place. No immortal soldiers no need to write new laws. |
