Teamwork or skill
Now lets put a scenario up here
Team 1 has good teamwork everyone runs in squads , everyone has based classes , heavy , logi , assault ,etc. These guys have gear ranging from MLT-STD. They have an averave skill level nothing too superior.
Team 2 has the skill these are the guys who pub stomp is squaded up correctly. But these guys have little to no teamworm everyond is soloing. But these guys have ADV-PRO gear.
So would you think teamwork wins this or skill |

its not skill that's going to carry this, its gear. statistically, team one stands somewhere between a snowball in the outer portions of the sun, and that same snowball in a furnace. |

I can't count how many times I have smashed a whole squad that was working together because they can't aim.
Scrubs using teamwork is just a montage clip waiting to happen. |

For me it would be teamwork. I find when my squad is communicating I personally do better. |

Team 2 would win. Working together is great and all - but that doesn't change the fact your up against pros in adv-proto who are on the same team. They may not conciouslly think of each other when they engage - but all they'd have to do is just be near eachother - a tact any good player by now knows - and the other side will be filled with tears as 2 hmg's and an MD basically solo half the other side. And this is me being generous and not mentioning how much better high end AR players are right now who are the majority of the best currently.
Team 1 would need to set up dead zones - which wouldn't work for long vs pro/vets |

I second this, below average players in a team don't make up for their lack of skill. |

Was in a pub match when something like this scenario occurred. (I'm always a random blueberry, so I don't count)
My team had two squads from the same corp, they were all talking over team comms (I was listening), had very good communication and mostly std gear.
The other team had two highly skilled ppl from the same corp in a squad.
If you count all of the randoms as just being your average blueberry, no afk'rs, or newberries, then we have a very similiar scenario to what is purposed.
The team with communications won (just by a hair), but was killed alot and only had 4 clones left by the end. The other team had those couple ppl with 40+/3 kdr, the rest of their team didn't do all that hot in the kdr wp department.
Those couple of ppl held off two squads and a team of randoms. If they just had a full squad, then I'm sure they would of won. From this example, Teamwork and good communications does not mean they will always win. A couple highly skilled ppl in proto gear can hold off or even push back entire mil/std squads. |
